Zizawah

every trick of areal dexterity — Aerial dexterity

Gama

Didn’t the phase in phase out card get extended to 30 seconds with the other card Valentina gave to Arthur? Also shouldn’t Arthur have plenty of mana because of mana bank constantly able to store mana and grow larger?

Thaldor

Time for some crafting! 🤩

Louis Glick

I don’t understand why Arthur is not using poison on his metal shots, flame bears, and mana shields. He has his counterfeit card power and a rare dragon and rider next to him. Same goes for Brix. Two of them have bloody copy powers. Use the bloody copy powers.

Some epic synergy if he ever wanted to plate his bones in metal.

Flopmind

Rubeno, time is stopped in storage. They wouldn't recover anything, as they'd be stuck in time.

Rubeno

I mean, horse-ants doesn't seem to have a flying capabilities. So just by alternating Brix or MC storage and leveraging stealth at least two members of their team can regenerate stamina.

The wire should be fine because I think the description was more along the lines of 3 dimensions and the wire curled up still fits within that size

Reno

When you were born, you gained the ability to manipulate objects that come in contact with your palms. You can move pencils, but you cannot draw until your skills advance. You can move rocks, but you can't create holes in the wall. I think it's the same with his metal skills. He can do lots of things, but he didn't just get perfect control over all metallic matter. I imagine that the more difficult the task, the more tiring/higher risk it is. After all, you can try to lift a 50 kilo box, but you might also drop it or injure your back. You can stop stones that are thrown at you with your own hands, but you probably aren't very good at it, especially if they're fast or heavy.

They could jump into Brixby's space for a while. Let Joy and Brix play hit-and-run for a bit. It wouldn't help with mana/stamina but the dragons would have more options to thin the wave.

Seth

Noticed a couple typos as I was reading this great chapter. Typo#1: within an inch of “hid” body, supposed to be “his”. Typo#2 “areal” dexterity, aerial. Not major typos. Still understood the chapter and it was amazing. Love the cliffhanger at the end

James Donnelly

A few of these flaws would be easy to edit and clear up alot of questions. Change the description of N(M)SM to "metal objects less than 1 cm in diameter and no more than 1 kg" Have Arthur gain the Metal Manipulation skill after the first fight before Brix tells him to level it up.

Rubeno

" metal objects less than one centimeter in all dimensions." Now thinking about it MC shouldn't have been able to use wire as well. At most he should be able to use 1cm^3 metal objects or maybe only 1cm^3 sized parts of metal objects?

James Donnelly

I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that would use alot of mana.

Corpse Garden

I'm still waiting for him to incase himself in metal and use the shot to propell himself around like iron man.

Rubeno

Card allows magic but Metal Manipulation Skill isnt magic in itself as such restrictions of the Card still apply

seth dauer

The card does, but metal manip is a skill

James Donnelly

If im not mistaken his card has a restriction on the size of the object. Stop arrows? Maybe. Sword? Definitely not.

Rubeno

I have noticed Arthur being horrible, horrible man... Arthur has never patted Brix head despite that he is such a good boy! If I were Arthur I wouldn't be able to resist the itch ;D

Leafburn 550

That would be really cool maybe if the metal manipulation gets high enough

Voror

Ooh, traps would be good as well.

james williams

I am hoping for a barrier or trap enchantment

Voror

Wait.... So he can manipulate any metal within an inch of his body? It's risky but could he use that to stop someone swinging a sword at him or would the acceleration of the blade overpower any of that? Like if he's aware of it, could people fire arrows at him and as long as the tips were metal he could perhaps freeze them? Probably overthinking it or it is possible but tremendously difficult or impractical. I wonder if Arthur is going to learn enchantments for boosting themselves with buffs perhaps?
