Hoping to get out of here as soon as possible you move from street to street of this cramped, run down and filthy city as quietly as you can. Trying not to draw attention to yourself from the odd inhabitants that shuffle through these streets you eventually find yourself within a market square.
Casting an eye around the dark, dirty and dingy stalls you're horrified by what you see. Piles of limbs, bones, skulls, rotting flesh and entrails of numerous creatures are pilled high on tables and overspilling from carts. You find yourself rooted to the spot, stock still and staring with your mouth open. As residents of this strange and twisted city, in this realm of darkness and shadow, aren't phased at all as they buy and sell the meat of humanoids.
Abruptly a slate rattles off a roof behind you and crashes to the floor rousing you from your frozen state. You look back and upwards to see a large eye embedded within the roof itself staring down at you. Unblinking."
Hey all,
You might be wondering, how'd we get here? To a corpse filled meat market in the Shadowfell, well that's thanks to you and your voting. You brought this on us and I hope you're happy with yourselves :P
So enjoy this second foray in to the Shadowfell, I'm sure it'll be weird.

Great idea. Have your players horrified as they see what comes out at night ...

Could very easily run this as a day-and-night difference with the alternative maps! Have the base map as the night, and an alternative as a day map! Have a literal black market that sells at night! ☠️
