Forest Dungeon

More winding forest paths for your players to get lost down. I know some of you, and especially your players, will be thinking “Surely you see through 10ft of thick forest and just carefully walk through it.”
For these open air dungeons to work I’d suggest describing the forest as unnaturally dense and twisted, blocking all line of sight and reducing sounds. It could even be a magically enchanted forest that seems to reach out, attacking and grappling anyone who tries to press their way through the trees.
And if they ask anymore questions, BAM! surprise green dragon.
