Never mind so it looks like if you upgrade your tier you have to wait for the access. If you go to your Manage Memberships page under your account you will probably see the Full Access Tier with status pending. I bet once it completes the system will work.

So I've upgraded tiers and connected my Discord but I still don't see the server added or get an invite. Where would I see the invite at?

if you dont automatically get added when you join the new tier for whatever reason, you can click on the "my membership" tab up top, scroll down to where it says "discord community", and then click the button that says connect to discord!
