Imp Progress

I've finished all the different dialogue art pieces for the Imp and their designs. I may still add some parts later and I may adjust their colors...
But regardless, that's the hard part out of the way.
As you can see, I've shoved them into the game, but these are just placeholders since I need "combat sprite" art for different poses. I'm starting with just an idle pose there but they'll have multiple poses for various actions.
I've also been working on their moveset.
Now, the secret about game development is once you start it, you don't actually have much free time to play games yourself. Of the few games I get to play between drawing these Imps I've been playing some chess-like games...
Maybe you can see where this is going. If the Imps are too hard, blame chess.
I intend to give all the Imps the same basic move but they'll each have their own follow-up attack.
I'll be making a test area to the right of the village spawn / across the stream and I'll put the Imps there as a playable demo for the next time I post.

So far I've made it so the class you get from losing to an enemy helps beat that area ... if there's a hard mode, maybe that'll be beating the game as human. But that's for later!

If people complain too much about difficulty- as someone who personally likes challenge in games like this.. maybe if you end up tweaking/rebalancing you could just make it a different difficulty setting and keep the original as a tougher mode?.. might be nice.
