However appaling this performative outrage is, I very much doubt there is any significant boycotting at all. If anything, such headlines are free publicity, and probably seen as positive advertising by a not insignificant percentage of potential customers. The absence of visible review bombing on Baldur's Gate also indicates, that we are dealing with a small minority.
