Employees are trying to unionize, so supporting causes like that are a big help. As soon as Blizzard workers unionize, the better, and I will never buy a game from them until otherwise.

This might actually be true. Not blameless, but true. My experience with abusive organizations is that employees are afraid to speak up. Because why would you, when your boss is abusive and also friends with the board? To be clear, that is in no way an excuse of the Activision bullshit. But the position of employees in these situations is not simply that they're being oppressed and ignored, it's that they have no voice. I'm not sure what to do about that.
