"If I don't know what it is, it must be BIAS! I certainly won't do an ounce of research before claiming such."

I can’t remember what game it was, but a developer who was going to make NFTs changed their minds when there was backlash to the announcement. It might have been a combination of that and stores like Steam no longer allowing NFT games, but there is push back against this stuff and it seems to be growing.

That was useful, thanks! I struggled to comprehend what NFTs were but I think I get it now.

Mozilla ceasing to accept donations in crypto is related to other companies walking back their forays into the crypto markets. That was why it was brought up.

Trevor Bond

Rationalwiki has a pretty good article on NFTs for those who still don't understand what they are (they're literally nothing, but if you need more explaining than that, it's a good start)

mak.

Not sure how Mozilla accepting donations in crypto since 2019 (or 2015) is similar to these gaming companies selling NFTs. But might be biased there. Get better soon.

But can I play pachinko with nfts? Or an nft pachinko machine... by Konami.

I genuinely like vocable. It's distinct from vocal, more succinct than communicable (while conveniently avoiding the health-related sense), and doesn't have the awkward wrongness that a similar neologism like "speakable" has. And apparently it's "already" a word (in the sense it has a dictionary entry; not arguing for linguistic gatekeeping here, to be clear). I shall henceforth use vocable. Thanks for the new word <3
