Yes Resident Evil 4 Remake's Microtransactions Are Bad (The Jimquisition)
🕑 Added 2023-04-10 18:55:24 +0000 UTCResident Evil 4 Remake just got itself some lovely new microtransactions, even though it launched a few weeks ago. This is bad. People are trying to argue it isn't, but it is.
Remember, there are NO good microtransactions. Let's look at what Capcom pulled and explain how this sucks.

Microtransactions in a single-player game are bad enough, but adding them after it had most of its sales and the reviews came out is pretty much a confession that they knew it wouldn't have sold as well if it came with that crap initially.

I love that logical take down of Microtransactions that destroys both angles of their “justification.” That there's no direction to come at them and not have them either suck or blow.
