Marvel's Avengers - Earth's Crappiest Heroes (Jimpressions)
🕑 Added 2020-09-02 14:15:36 +0000 UTCIt may have the powerful Marvel license behind it, but make no mistake - Marvel's Avengers is just another forgettably mediocre "live service" waste of time.
A lifeless, colorless, utterly humorless take on the Marvel universe, Avengers' overall sloppiness and visually horrendous presentation doesn't help.
And on top of that, Square Enix has the audacity to feature Microtransactions, multiple battle passes, and a Fortnite-style rotating storefront. It's a terrible game. A vapid product. It'll probably make a lot of money.

I just saw an ad on tv for this game and thought "stadia is still a thing?"

I do love the unintentional hilarity of watching people play this in an intense action scene, set their controller somewhere, and then the game just hanging there going 'Press the button! We'll wait.... the action can just hang a bit, it's cool'. How exciting and impactful!

I got such a Gauntlet: Dark Legacy vibe. I love turning my brain off to that game play, but this is just insulting.

They had Frank Miller to use. That a batman v superman could be boring fills me with nerd rage.
I wish it at least did something new or looked fun. I can't understand, in general, how people who are purchasing these games aren't just bored to tears. There's got to be something to it.
I'm sure this game will stand the test of time and stand cemented in history along with its other Live Service™️ brothers such as: Anthem, Fallout 76, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, Battlefield V, Star Wars Battlefront, and many other triumphs in gaming
This game looks like the experience I had watching Batman v. Superman: drab, dreary, boring, and a dismal waste of potential.
