🕑 Added 2018-12-20 15:29:53 +0000 UTCIt's almost Christmas time, so enjoy that. We also talk about Gris, Below, Pokemon battlin' and other stuff.
Special thanks to "Ned Reid" for letting us use his wonderful 8 Bit cover of "Messing With The Best"

Yeah, survival mechanics that just give you debuffs (and, better yet, bonuses) are fine. When being hungry makes you FUCKING DIE, it's just obnoxious. (This is what really killed Don't Starve for me.)

(I know Dark Souls is technically in the same series, but no it's bloody not. Nowhere near as good)

All Soul's games are Demon Souls clones to me... I played Demons Souls for three hundred hours ... played Dark Souls on release and was like "this game is rubbish". Dark Souls the series is just a Demon Souls knockoff

If you go onto this podcasts soundcloud page, there are some proper weirdos in the comments section. But in better and less depressing news, I saw Laura on the BBC news today!

Another fun listen. I hope you all have a great holiday. Very excited to try GRIS too. :) And Gav stop being such a Scrooge. I'm only here for positivity and unicorn farts. ;)

As it's the end of the year I just wanted to say I love this podcast... definitely my favorite video game related pod I've ever listened to. You guys are funny and interesting, cover all the relevant games and news items, and you're all honest and opinionated without being contrarian or judgmental. Hope your holidays go well and excited to hear you all again in 2019!
