“This time, for sure I’m gonna catch something amazing!” you tell yourself for the dozenth time today.
The tall grass along Route 22 sways around you, tickling your chubby knees where your bug catcher shorts ride up. Your curly auburn hair clings to your sweaty forehead, and your pot belly jiggles under your green vest as you trudge forward, net in one hand, pokéball in the other.
At 22 and 215 lbs, you’re not the youngest or the fittest trainer in Viridian City, but you’ve got dreams. Big ones!
The Pewter City gym looms in your mind, its gym leader’s rock types are a wall you’re determined to smash. Your team...Metapod, Pikachu, and Venonat...is pretty scrappy: two pokémon caught in the sprawling forest north of your hometown, and a rare bug you traded your pidgeotto (your strongest pokémon at the time) for. The weird man in the Poké-Center promised you that its poison type moves would lead you to victory, but now you’re starting to think you got hustled.
Venonat is cute, but yours is kind of…dumb.
You need a ringer, something rare to tip the scales in your favor!
Rumors of strange pokémon on this route, whispered in the Viridian Poké-Mart, have you out here despite the storm brewing to the north. Dark clouds churn on the horizon like a Gyarados’ wrath. Thunder rumbles, and the air smells of rain and ozone, but you press on, heart thumping.
“C’mon, something good’s gotta be out here,” you mutter, wiping sweat from your brow. Your vest sticks to your soft middle, and you tug it down, self conscious of your belly’s wobble.
Pikachu scampers at your heels, ears twitching, while Venonat’s fuzzy antennae bob ahead, sniffing the grass. Metapod…well, he’s just a lump in your bag, but you love the guy. They’re your team!
You squint through the grass, the blades rustling louder as the wind picks up. Lightning flashes, and you swear you see a shimmer of something.
It’s something pale, curvy, and not like any Kanto pokémon you know.
You freeze, your heart racing.
“Pikachu, Venonat, eyes up!” you whisper. Pikachu’s cheeks spark, and Venonat’s eyes glow faintly.
You creep forward, net raised, pokéball ready. The grass parts, and there she is: a Gardevoir!
She’s tall and impossibly shapely, her bottom heavy figure swaying like a dancer’s. Her white gown clings to wide hips and a thick, motherly waist, her red chest spike gleaming under the stormy sky. Her green arms are slender, but her thighs...god, they’re massive, jiggling with each step! Her face, framed by that bobbed green hair, has a serene, almost knowing smile, her red eyes locked on you.
Your cheeks burn, and you shift, your shorts tightening.
Woah…why is she so...feminine? Too feminine, you think. Her curves are weirdly human, and it’s doing things to you.
“A Gardevoir? Here?” you stammer. Gardevoirs aren’t native to Kanto. Is she a trainer’s pokémon, escaped or abandoned? No collar, no tags, just that curvy, pear-shaped body…suddenly gliding toward you!
Your mind scrambles! Catch her! She’s rare, and she’s perfect for Pewter!
“Pikachu, Thunderbolt!” you shout, pointing at your foe.
Pikachu leaps, cheeks crackling, but Gardevoir’s eyes glow pink. A psychic pulse ripples out, and Pikachu yelps, collapsing in a faint.
“Aw crap. Um, Venonat, use Stun Spore!” you cry, but Gardevoir twirls, her gown flaring, and another psychic wave hits. Venonat’s antennae droop, and he’s out cold.
“Okay then…Metapod, go!” you yell, tossing his pokéball.
He lands with a thunk, immobile.
Gardevoir tilts her head, amused, and with a flick of her wrist, a pink glow envelops Metapod. He floats, then drops, fainting. He didn’t stand a chance, and you realize you look like a bad trainer for even entertaining the possibility that he did.
Your jaw drops. All three, down in seconds.
Her power’s insane, and those hips...fuck, why are you noticing her hips now? She steps closer, her thighs brushing the grass, her smile widening. Your heart jackhammers, and you stumble back, net slipping from your sweaty hand.
“O-okay, you win!” you squeak, turning to run away!
