Let's start with something else! Sixie(our artist) has been working with the company behind the onahole compatible with the game to create some cool merch you should be able to get sometime soon. For now they are focusing on acrylic standing figures, that' is what main image of the post will be used for.
There's also other things in the plans. Images below are for cards you could use when taking a photo to make it look like you are taking a selfie with one the characters!
Game update progress report
People often say that the last 20% takes 80% of the time. While I don't think it's that extreme in this case finishing up everything seems to be taking quite a while. A lot of the work this month has been finishing up all the things mentioned in the previous reports, so there's less flashy screenshots, but let's go through some of the cool things we've added this month!
Some more quality of life and UI
The color picker hasn't been touched in a long time. I've polished how it looks and works. You can now easily pick from the in game palettes. I've also expanded the palettes a bit and plan on add more of them. Do you have any suggestions?
Better item picker when ordering clothes at Annalie's shop! You can now search for items there by name and see the descriptions and prices.
Better looking scrollbars in the options! Those are also used in other parts of the game. (When selecting ingredients for the cooking minigame)
New languages
I've added a couple new languages to game's community translation. Namely: Latvian, Swedish, Romanian, Danish, Finnish
Also Spanish has been split into Spanish and Spanish(Latin America) I've been told the differences between those is big enough to warrant the split.
So many languages. Game has now reached 30! I might have to add a search bar here soon lol
New shoes and more!
Here's the new shoes coming in this update. They should go well with the dresses! The first dress you could see in the last post, but we are also working on the second one.
We are also working on the new hairstyle. Instead of creating just one, we are going to do something more interesting. The idea is to separate the hair into parts, for example back, side, front. That'd allow players to mix different combinations to achieve different results.
When will it be released?
I'd estimate that around mid November. Hopefully we can finish earlier, but no promises.

Only a month away, can't wait cell, the hairstyle seems like a really cool concept, will that be through a menu that you go into to change hairstyles or through regular play like limbs and such. I am also very happy that the color picker and clothing shop menus are getting updated, kee up the good work

Ooooh, I like the frontal parting hairstyle the most for the new frontal idea. Gives a very elegant appearance to her that would look great in combination with a dress for date scenarios. Sehr gut!

For PC at least, the h game Koikatsu has a mod that already does the color picker thing. You could reference the code for it on its GitHub page, it's called Better Color Picker by ManlyMarco.

As for the color picker. Not sure if I can easily do that. I don't think there's an easy, crossplatform way to be able to sample pixels outside of game's screen. Items visible in the shop screen wouldn't be too hard. Might add that.

I'd recommend adding an option to have the color picker recognize colors of areas where the mouse is hovering, so that if someone's trying to make a specific cosplay for Jun, they can use reference images. Also, for the shop, might I suggest having the order screen list what you already have in your inventory? It's been a while since I played, so forgive me if this is already a thing, but it'd be nice to know what we already have, if we're trying to buy one of everything. Of course, with the multi colored shoes, this is easier said than done...

Yes. Picking from those palettes is already in the game. There's a button saying I think "From color palettes" to pick from them when choosing the color. Most people miss it though. That's why I reworked it.

Awesome work as always! Canβt wait to get merch :-) as for the color palettes, does this include the ability to choose colors other special clothes have for new clothes? I may have just not been looking hard enough before but when trying to match custom clothes colors to existing clothes colors such as βmikuβ Iβd have to just kinda eyeball it instead of it being selectable. Super excited about hairstyles too! Sheβs already so cute, but I appreciate you really going the extra mile in things like that for all of us.
