Alternate Thumbnails For Valley Girl Witch/Vampire
🕑 Added 2024-10-01 05:00:12 +0000 UTCWhen it comes to the dynamic of the Lovely Little Witches and The Vampire Saga storyline, there are two main bridges: The Conduit and Goth Girl, who herself is now a Witch. Due to their supernatural sensitive nature, the Conduit tends to wander by accident into the Witches pocket dimensions where they do business at their shops, and Goth Girl, because of her Helsing lineage, was aware of the Lovely Little Witches coven and was able to get a job with them as a result. But for the sleepover event I really wanted to bring another Witch into the Vampire Saga, and Valley Girl was the perfect choice! She's very laid back, and a good foil to the coolness of Goth Girl and her overactive sister.
She's also plain fun to play! And although she's Valley Girl-inspired, she's flexible enough to be a hippy so I really leaned into that fun stoner vibe and had her talk about her oreo conspiracy, which I myself wholeheartedly believe in!
As for Vampire, this is the same Vampire the Vampire Saga is named after. She's is also, as of me writing this, the only re-occurring "evil" monster I've brought back. I tend to not do a ton of videos with her because I always feel like she threatens to take over the channel with her appearances and I just can't let that happen lol. This is also the same Vampire that was seen in the Van Helsing series, but in the modern day she's a lot creepier! Whether there was some kind of catalyst for her behavior change or she got tired of being pushed around by Slayer's like the Helsing's, who's to say!
But of all the monster's the Conduit has encountered so far, she's by far worst, and I wanted to make her worthy of the Vampire Saga name. She's not a mindless creature like The Lady of The Woods, or trapped in place like the Girl In the Back of The Class. She's a hunter, and the Conduit is her prey.
I wouldn't go so far as to say as she's the main villain of the story, because this is a story with many villains, but she's by far the most tenacious!

Thanks for joining! People like her for different reasons! Some enjoy that I lean into the horror aspect, and others just like the pretty vampire! I actually have a new one coming up with her soon in the Van Helsing series, so look forward to that!

I’m new to the channel, and coincidentally I’ve been reading the original Dracula. I was so pleased to see all the vampire videos! She’s a great character! And sometimes it’s weirdly comforting to have that prey/submissive fantasy. Not sure what that says about me, but oh well 😅

Definitely succeeded there! I find that the drastic tonal shift from valley girl to vampire really emphasizes the unpredictability of the story and keeps viewers on their toes. It sounds like you're really playing with contrasting vibes to keep things exciting, and the Conduit's constant looming threats only add to that tension. Can't wait to see how it all unfolds!

That's definitely true. But I think the vampire has always had that allure, since at least Dracula onward. One of my favorite YouTube videos is about the horror of compulsion, and I think you've unwittingly pulled that off!

I think the most interesting thing about Vampire is that a lot of viewers go in thinking “oh, bite me pretty vampire” without realizing that she’s both not a good person and it’s a genuine horror video. Out of all the monsters I’ve done so far, I think she’s the creepiest

The Valley Girl's spaciness is definitely comforting. And I think the Vampire has the biggest effect on your viewers, so her status as a main villain makes sense- almost like Sauron from LOTR

I agree! I wanted to have a complete tonal shift for the viewers and going from valley girl to vampire was about as jarring as I could get! Although the Conduit has his safe spaces, the next threat is always around the corner!

Love both of these characters. They both seem like two sides of a coin. The witch is more friendly and open making you feel safe and sound whereas the vampire creates a tense atmosphere and makes you feel more on edge and jumpy.
