Quarter Mile of Underdark Map Pack!

Today, I bring you a Quarter Mile (in 5' squares) of Underdark tunnels and caves!
This one took me a LONG time, but I hope you'll enjoy the results! This is a MASSIVE 240 x 80 battlemap of the Underdark, featuring a webwork of connected tunnels and caverns that form a quarter mile of length from one end to the next. These caverns can provide you and your players with a huge amount of potential random encounters, whether it be a full crawl across the map or simply using particular sections for specific encounters.
I've also included [2] versions of the map -- one dressed with some ideas I had for the various chambers and dangers, and one clean version for you to populate however you wish!
The chambers are all dressed in such a way that they could be active and/or populated or inactive and/or abandoned, however it may fit your narrative. This means that you can choose to run certain encounters and leave others for another day, should you wish. There are also many different paths through the map, allowing the players to make decisions based on what they see and find.

The various chambers have been designed with particular ideas in mind, and some of those ideas are:
Basilisk Eggs - A large chamber is filled with strange, stone-like growths that resemble eggs. A few of them seem to have cracked open, with hard pieces littering the floor and a viscous green liquid. Someone with appropriate experience or a high Nature check may reveal they are basilisk eggs - and several of them have hatched. No telling where the creatures are now!
Creepy Crawlies - In a lower section of the cavern, a few holes have been dug into the earth and slick paths worm through the muck, trails belonging to something...big. In a particular bend, green eyestalks cling to the walls and shift back and forth, appearing to observe the corridor, but observing for whom?
Stone Forest - A large cavern filled with boulders creates a small forest of stone, making it difficult to see what lay ahead, as well as hiding some of the Underdark's more stealthy creatures.
Mushroom Cavern - A few different sections of the tunnels and caverns have bioluminescent mushrooms, but one in particular has a wide swath of beautiful and colorful mushrooms of great size. They might just be harmless fungii, or the homes of a Mycanoid colony.
Shattered Shrine - A small turn leads toward the remnants of what looks to be an old shrine. To what, it is hard to say, but perhaps there is lore to be found here that tells what worship went on here and if a link still remains.
Webbed Network - Several tunnels and caves are coated in large webs, some with glistening eggs and web-wrapped objects of varying sizes. Are they home to simple spiders, Driders or some other type of creature that feeds upon what crawls and walks these caverns?
Abandoned Forge & Mine - A cold forge sits against the wall, deserted and abandoned by those that used it. Remnants of crates, barrels, tools and other supplies fill the chamber, but the entrance to the mine has long since collapsed. With the right tools and materials, however, this forge may just be able to create something special!
Massive Pit - Dominating one of the caves is a huge hole descending into darkness. Bones litter the periphery of the hole, an ominous sign for something you can't see. Skirting the edges of the hole seems dangerous, but perhaps the beast slumbers? Or perhaps it no longer lives here. One way to find out!
Underground River - A waterfall feeds a long and wide river with rapid water moving southward through the caves. A few stones jut from the choppy waters, but it makes for a formidable challenge to cross, especially if something happens to live in these waters.
Old Prison - A rusty gate leads into what used to be (or still is) a prison of sorts. Cages line the tunnels and caves, with a wooden table and chairs in the central cave. An old hole in the ground smells of what used to be waste -- the cages may contain skeletons, or perhaps one of them holds something more interesting and still alive?
Red Crystal - Hidden behind a collapsed wall and through a secret tunnel to the south lay a chamber filled with a massive red crystal. A few mining picks, clamps and other supplies lay nearby as evidence of someone trying to obtain pieces of the crystal, however, a few shattered pieces on the ground seem to indicate it's not quite as easy as it may seem. Are there miners active now, or perhaps creatures in the thrall of the Red Crystal?
Moldy Tunnels - A series of collected mold grows in the corners of these chambers, with some large tunnels leading into darkness. The ground is sticky and the air smells damp. It isn't a place one should linger too long, especially with the echoes that occasionally sound from the darkened tunnels.
As with all of the more recent maps, we have a great sprite by Katsudon Art to pair along with the map of a female Drider, perhaps found in the webbed tunnels, or perhaps in another section of the caves. Use them as you wish!
This was a lot of fun and should hopefully provide a lot of interesting and challenging encounters as your PC's traverse the Underdark!
