Fantasy Art Gallery Initiative!
🕑 Added 2024-01-31 17:25:52 +0000 UTCEarlier this month, I began an initiative to create a Fantasy Art Gallery comprised of 100% human-made artwork to begin populating a gallery that could be used by DM's and Players to find inspiration and use for their personal, home games.
I ended up commissioning about 15 artists (some are still working on finishing up their pieces), for January's collection, who were given the same theme of - "the Fey".
I LOVED all of the submissions and working with all of the talented artists on this list. So many of them commented on how enjoyable the opportunity was to work on something with almost 100% creative control and freedom, as I'm a large believer that the best art comes from someone passionate or interested in their subject.

The permanent website for these is being developed, but until that resource is available, I am going to be keeping the images here for everyone to be able to view and access.
LICENSING NOTE
All image rights are owned by the individual artist and I have licensed these images to be used in a Fantasy Art Gallery that can be used by anyone for their own personal and private games.
They cannot be used commercially, unless you want to contact the artist and discuss licensing independently.
My plan is to do a new round each month and slowly build out a large repository of fantasy art for people to use that will encourage and support human artists vs. AI art.
Even though I use AI images for concept work, I still feel very strongly that human artists should be kept in the loop and used/supported, especially for commercial work.

Man there's some really outstanding pieces in here. They're all wonderful and excellent quality (far better than anything I've ever made). I'm excited. Need to come up with a reason to get the party into the Feywild so i can "introduce" them... .... hrm... haha
