Random Encounters #3 Map Pack!
🕑 Added 2022-02-13 16:53:29 +0000 UTCThese are [3] different maps following the same road moving through the forest. I enjoy having maps with the same visual aesthetic as my party moves from place to place, so that travel feels like they're still in the same "area", even if the encounters might be different.
The maps include:
- Forest Road passing Large Rocks
- Forest Road with a Bridge
- Forest Road between Large Hills
Each map contains several of the same elements, including elevation change, multiple forms of cover, potential caves entries/exits and potential ambush locations.
Encounters I've run (or plan to run):
- Party discovers the remnants of a sundered wagon, looted and destroyed. The body of a still-living merchant lay hidden beneath the wreckage.
- Party comes across a pair of knights dueling upon the bridge, blocking travel. Do they intervene? Watch? Force them off? Bet on the match?
- Party comes across a bugbear charging a toll to cross the bridge, with several goblins hidden amongst the trees/rocks.
- Party passes between large hills, suddenly attacked from above by large birds, harpies or other flying creatures.
I hope you enjoy the maps!
Tier Rewards will be sent out soon!
