Restored Castle of Icespire Hold Map Pack!
🕑 Added 2022-04-20 18:01:32 +0000 UTCThis is my latest version of Restored Maps from the Dragon of Icepspire Peak adventure, the mountain castle, Icespire Hold.
I kept the layout predominantly the same, though I did add a few rooms and shift a few internal walls around to create some additional bedroom and chambers that just seemed to flow better and offer more useful space.
The first floor contains:
1. Main Greeting Room
2. Kitchen & Storage
3. Armory
4. Dining Hall
5. Servant's Quarters
6. Common Room
7. Single Bedrooms [3]
8. Double Bedrooms [1]
9. Guard Barracks
10. Guard Captain Quarters
11. Guardhouse Storage
12. Guardhouse Forge
13. Guardhouse Stables
14. Guardhouse Common Room
The second floor contains:
1. Library
2. Single Bedrooms [1]
3. Double Bedrooms [1]
4. Rooftop with Flame-Arrow Ballista
I also dressed the rooms to be used no a 106 x 80 grid, because I believe it just affords movement around the castle a much better "feel", especially in VTT when using a lot of visuals and tokens. This avoids issues of 5'-wide hallways, bottlenecks and rooms that don't allow much freedom of movement, especially with furniture.
I'd love to hear what YOUR party did with Icespire Hold. ;)
Tier Rewards will be sent out soon!
I hope you enjoy it!

I've decided it was found by a nomadic tribe of Snow Halflings who saw from afar the dramatic battle with Cryovain and moved in since it's no longer being guarded by a scary dragon.

Oh man. My players were spirited away to the Feywild after dispatching Cryovain last October. This weekend they are rejoining the timeline after an indeterminate amount of time has passed. I think this might be the Icespire Hold they return to. Who was it that restored the Hold?
