TS4 - Info about the new update

Hi everyone!
Sims 4 received an update yesterday and it was nothing major. Just some bug-fixes, a couple of new features and base-game compatibility with the upcoming packs. However, there is a highlight of this patch, which is DX11 update.
Now, if your PC supports it, your Sims 4 game will load as DX11 default. This is actually a big step on how your game performs from graphics to smooth performance. The difference may not seem very visible but there's quite a difference between DX9 and DX11, mostly performance wise.
You can chose either DX11 or DX9 from your settings, after you launch the game (after update).
I updated my game just to see if my sims okay and the sims i share seems to be working perfectly fine both with DX9 and DX11.
If you decide to play your game with DX11, you need to re-install Reshade/Gshade. Since Sims 4 was running on DX9 whole time, you had to install reshade/gshade by selecting DX9 option. But now, if you chose DX11, you need to reinstall the program by chosing DX11.

In conclusion, 99% of the CAS items seem to be working fine with DX11 as well. 1% stands for there might be issue with a cc. Can't know since i can't test everything on my own.
In some Build items, there might be some giant "?" marks textures. This is mainly because of the DX11 update. How to fix it? It's VERY easy: Download Sims 4 Studio > Click Content Management > Click Batch Fixes > From there, you'll see 3 options. Check all 3 of them and see which ones have "DX11" tag next to them. For my case, it was in Misc > Update images for DX11. Can be different for you. Then, click on those with DX11 tag and let the Sims4Studio do it's magic. It may take some time to finish, depending on your mods folder size and the build items required to be updated.

For now, this concludes the info post. I updated my game only to see how things are and if my sims are compatible with the DX11. And everything works perfectly fine (CAS items wise). It should not affect you in any way whether you chose to stay on DX9 or update your game to DX11.
If anything else comes up, i'll make sure to update you guys.
