Update on Tier Benefits and Future Creations ♥
🕑 Added 2023-08-29 14:56:35 +0000 UTCHi everyone! I'm here to update you guys about the improvements on the benefits and future creations. If you have some spare time, please read the post :)
Ever since i started creating and sharing sims, there were some personal life obstacles from time to time. But thanks to your kindness and your support, i always got back up and created sims. Sometimes i worked on more than one sim at a time and forgot to hydrate. Sometimes only a single sim took a week to create because i was so obsessed how her/his nose or eyebrow isn't looking right (isn't representing the image on my mind). But all the effort taught me one thing. If you enjoy doing that thing, it's worth the time you spent, it's worth the effort you put, it's worth the night you lack the sleep.
This is why i always want to offer you guys more and more. If i had time, i'd create more and more sims every month. But i'm only human and i can create only so much within a month.
That being said, let's jump to what's changed on the tier benefits.
- New Gift System -
First of all, the gift system has changed. Starting from September, the gifts will be called in different names according to tiers.
- First Tier: Gift Box 🎁 (Some months, you'll receive Gift Box)
- Second Tier: VIP Box 💝 (At the end of each month, you'll receive VIP Box)
- Third Tier: VIP Bag 👜 (At the end of each month, you'll receive VIP Bag)
With this change, it will be easier to distinguish the differences of the gifts.
Also, starting from September, the gifts will be based on themetics, rather than just casual themes. For example, in September, Project Atlantis will be our monthly gift themetic. This themetic will include 6 Greek Gods & Goddesses. Main change on the gift system is, from now on, it will be based on themetics and these themetics will be mostly based on fantasy themetics (Based on the poll results). But this doesn't mean all fantasy themetics will be vampires and elves and all. Quirky sims, super heroes and villains, game franchise characters, post-apocalyptic world survivors etc. are also fantasy themetics. From demons to blood lords, from orcs to elves, from magicians to demi-gods, from half-animal - half humans to succubus/incubus, from warriors to witty forest faes... And.. maybe some visitors from another planet? OH, maybe you will travel to a land which has never seen before, a Queendom from tales and legends- It can be anything! But of course, There'll be some casual themetics for some months like it used to. So hopefully both parts will be pleased :)
- Future Creations -
Looking from different perspectives always allowed me to find a new window each time. And this means gaining experience from trying diverse characters. From this ethnicity to that race, from this country to that village, from this culture to that generation etc. means different experiences. These experiences always allowed me to look outside from the windows i have newly found.
Another example is preference on CC. While Alpha skins are incredible and well detailed, unfortunately, it's very limiting to add any details on the face, since most skin details and genetics are created based on vanilla game or overlay versions of the Alpha skins (Alpha Overlays). So, i started experimenting on Alpha Overlays to see how further i can take things with maxis mix (alpha cc + maxis cc).
In May 2022, i created Vincent with Alpha Skin CC. While it's Alpha skin is remarkable and created generously amazing, it allows only so much to give details to skin/face (due to sort layer). Some contour, some blush and eyelid/eyebags all i could chose (very limited options) because some of the skin details are not showing up over the skin (because it's Alpha skin). However on the right, i created Bruce recently (as a sim to share sometime in the future) and i used Alpha skin overlay on him. Since it's not Alpha CC and it's Alpha Overlay, it gave me a WHOLE room to give him details. He still got contour, blush and eyelids/eyebags. But now, instead of a pool made in a bathtub, i have the entire ocean of options to choose. In short, customization has more variety. So, i hope to explore alpha overlays more along with Alpha CCs. Being able to add more details makes them look more spectacular!! Let's see how it'll go :)
While female sims always have incredibly rich options to choose between Alpha Skin CCs, male sims barely have any Alpha Skin CC options and they are not much rich unfortunately. So, i hope to be able to detail male sims like this in the future.
For female sims, i'm exploring different facial shapes and body types. From sharper facial bones to plumber structures, from musclar and thick bodies to thin ones and plumber/softer ones... I really love exploring new things and share them with you. :P
For example, i've shared Ioanna recently. She's probably the tallest sim i have ever created. She has mucles, has an incredible body and she's tall and gorgeous. For her, i tried to mix masculine considered features and feminine features. According to feedback i've received, you liked her a lot! And this gave me idea to keep adding similar sims to my creations every now and then in the future.
And i know that i've been lacking some elder sims. Reason why is, most of you guys prefer younger sims and or a bit adult sims. Elder sims usually don't get the attention. However, i hear you loud and clear. I'll be creating some elder sims every now and then. Starting with Dolores! She has an amazing story to be told in the near future. She's probably the MOST loved person in the Chestnut Ridge. Details will be shared later on when she's close to be shared :)
- Exploring Some Themetics -
As mentioned many times in this post and in other posts, i keep looking to find new themetics and hoping to implement to monthly sims as a regular themetics ( 1/per month ). However, rather than sticking to a single new themetic for each month, i thought rotating them for each coming month would keep the monthly sims fresh.
Here are the some themetics i'm currently exploring:
- Greek Gods & Goddesses - Project: Atlantis (Work in progress, coming as September gifts! Previews are coming very soon.)
- A land has never seen by outsiders before (Work in progress, coming as Spooktober gifts)
- Boys band (Sooooo very early work in progress)
- King's harem (Also sooo very early work in progress)
- Riders-With-Heels of the night (A group of young women being mischievous on their fancy motorcycles - another very early work in progress themetic)
- Cartoon characters now alive (This is expectedly a HUGE project and planned for a later date, as it will probably be a lot of sims at once. Details are not clear so you can expect more details in the coming months)
- Some characters from game series (like i did with Resident Evil)
- Experiencing on celebrity sims (This one is just a hope / a wish in the well. I hope to get better on celebrity sims even though i don't count on it so much. Again, don't expect much from this one but we'll see in the coming months.)
- RPG World (This one was on my mind since forever. From bards to warriors, from orcs to vampires and werewolves, from archers to assassins.. I really should build an RPG universe and some lore for it. In the past, i created a small group in the RPG themetic. If i am to give this themetic a go, i will also remake and improve them and include into the universe)
These themetics does not indicate they are coming in X month (other than Greek Gods/Goddesses in September and A land has never seen by outsiders before in October). I have a tight schedule every month. So they will come when they can or when they find a spot in a month (or cancelled/changed if can't be delivered in good quality).
And this wraps today's update post. In the next couple of days, more amazing sims and gifts are coming on your way. So please look forward to them :) ♥
Hope you have a great day ahead! Thank you for your time, thank you for your support :) ♥
