good thoughts, ty!

has it been clarified why what looks like the same text is pasted in twice in several chapters? I suspect RR might tend to discourage that (even if it's slightly altered) as it'll pad the statistics (which I bet they don't want happening often). Nice story btw, looking forward to more.

Call0013

MC should try and get a Sleeping Skill.

Miriduriel

Most likely no. Currently the MC has 16 Tier 1 skills, 12 in Tier 2, 4 Tier 3, 3 Tier 4 and a 1 Tier 5 these at lvl 100 provide a cumulative 19,250,000 exp and considering that according to author it takes 68,483,845 experience to reach LV100 it would be impossible to reach if there was a cap on how many different skills one could have especially as it appears to be impossible to remove skills that are already learned for higher tiered ones by the way they are implemented at the moment.. Then again we have no information on what happens when a skill hits lvl100 it might evolve to a skill in higher Tier or give out bonus experience but i sure am looking forward to finding out.

Thundermike00

Wait, is there a max number of skills someone can have?

Stephen Pearson

Nice! Platemail is great for so many reasons here, not least that she gets to make and upgrade her own:-)

Bob

DBZ style body weights? If joint strain/fatigue isn't a thing in this universe, just wear heavier and heavier full body platemail.

Kosnik4

I have chapter 26 almost finished. I have to work today, but I plan on having it out tonight or early tomorrow.

Robert Mullins

Thursday chapter?

Stephen Pearson

In a similar vein, if you're hoping to make enough money to make this a major source of income for you, you've set your pledge level too low. Which sounds weird from the reader maybe, but I'd rather you have the incentive to spend more time on the story I like and have a real reason not to drop it. In all seriousness, if you can build up a little more buffer, a $2 tier is reasonable for 2 chapters ahead of RR and $5 for at least 4 or 5 ahead will have quite a few takers, and is fairly typical. Some authors even go $10, but you really need a firehose-like output of good quality to sustain that, so I wouldn't suggest going that far. /$0.02

I just thought of this, but if she plans on working on her blacksmithing and getting through some skill tests before trying her hand at enchanting, she should pick up the engraving skill if there is one. If it's rolled into blacksmithing that would be simpler, but if there's a separate skill there she could easily pick it up and level it by engraving artistic patterns on metal or even wood. Getting that up to a decent level will take time and hopefully make it easier to learn enchanting. Also for easy xp I'd think maybe she could get the skill for singing. It shouldn't be too hard to get, you can practice it while blacksmithing, and you don't need any equipment for it. Plus she can pretend to be a genius bard by "inventing" all of the songs from Earth.

One piece of advice. If you write extra don't post everything all at once. If you just don't feel like writing, get sick, or need time to think of how to progress your story, if you have some backlog it gives you breathing room to avoid people complaining or thinking you're having trouble. Pick a sustainable pace, like once or twice a week and try to get ahead a little. If you find you develop a lot of extra chapters you can post bonus chapters, post blocks of chapters to avoid cliff hangers or slightly increase your post rate. But it really helps keep the pressure off, eventually you'll need a break and people have trouble understanding that.

If it is an anagram again the first two words are probably chics and the. The other two have many options, non of them seeming to fit.

Miriduriel

Anyone have an idea on Cicsh het ploet lagea? I spend the day trying to decipher it with no luck.

Tetsuki

Her soul sense implies that she will be able to see the status of other people at some point. That would be interesting.

Miriduriel

i would like this a lot more than 1-3 :D 4.) She gets worried after Sandra and her brother don't return when they were supposed to, after investigating, it turns out her friend got drafted as a mage to help with the war effort and her brother followed her and now builds fortifications. In order to help out as well she then becomes an armorer for the military, a connection which eventually leads to meeting Emily Pitz.

Miriduriel

Rather than adding a T, it might be easier to make a chapter for General Knowledge that has information on how much experience is gained from Tier 1-6 skills and the limits and stuff like the new effects for passing them, as the story progresses it would be nice to have all this info in one place as it could start to contain information on surrounding kingdoms with history as well as character and spell descriptions. Think the Appendix in the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan.

Robert Mullins

Following standard tropes of story telling, there's a couple of obvious possibilities. 1.) The warhero backstory, death of parents and teacher from invasion. Join army. 2.) Draft, parent's and teacher stay home. likely to get attacked later causing friction between Aaliyah and army. 3.) something happens that forces Aaliyah to leave town. Probably be with her master until he gets the chance to start her on the path of making magic weapons and does an initial reveal of stone-kin secrets. Soon after he will die, and at some point she will go to the home of the stone kin to continue learning.

J H

Thanks for the chapter. Still curious as to what the third celestial spell is that Aaliyah learned. I have a request though. Can you do something to mark the skills that are at a test threshold? I know it's at level 50 for tier 1 skills, but I can't remember what it is for other tiers and it would be nice to be able to see them at a glance. There are plenty of ways to do it, maybe the ones that are soft capped can be bolded, or show something at the end of the level like "Blacksmithing (LV50 T)". Just something so we know it's capped until a test is passed at a glance. It's going to be great to see her progress again in skills and see her blacksmithing in action now that she has her stats in place and is ready to break past those barriers. I guess it's probably for the best to keep the rest of her status points in reserve for later when she has a better idea of what she is lacking to progress further. I expect from the previous chapters that war is about to reach them and make them need to flee, so I hope she gets her skills up quick before then!

Yashakami

Thanks for the chapter, insomnia seems like a great way to get more training done!

Solarlancer

strangely im curious what she will need to do to pass cleaning test for lvl 51

Miriduriel

I want to learn incantating, "Did you mean: incantation?" most rudimentary steeps to engraving runes. "steps" able to sleep as I level grows higher? "my"

Giperman

I think this strength enchantement only works for the metal of this pickaxe

Andrew

Thank you!

Jacob

Thanks for the chapter, also looking forward to what she's going to make next chapter

Enzo Elacqua

Even if she does make the strength enchantment, shouldn’t it not be a big deal? Because since it’s only 2d copying it should be a breeze, so anyone with resources should be able to do it.

Miritar

Thanks for the chapter.

Stephen Pearson

Thanks for the chapter!
