BlampCo Monthly Debrief - March 2025
🕑 Added 2025-03-24 18:00:14 +0000 UTCGreetings, employees! Thank you for your mandatory attendance at this regularly scheduled meeting, where I let you know exactly how we’ve been spending your money this past month, and give you a sneaky peek at what we have planned for the weeks ahead! Transparency, yay!
Personnel:
A BIG CHANGE, THEN.
We have another full-time employee here at BlampCo! Teri Limongi, the editor extraordinaire, the honking nightmare, the CEO, is All In for the foreseeable, and the company is deeply lucky to have her. She’ll be editing, producing, directing, and even starring in a whole buttload of content going forward and if you’ve seen the quality spike in the videos this month, that would be why.

As ever, I’m also around, doing the odd video here and there, still a bit of editing work, but mostly focused on writing, creating formats, and coordinating with Teri the content plans for the next quarter!
For the immediate future, this is likely to be it for new hires. The company has more growing to do financially before we’d be able to bring anyone else in, but as far as two-headed monsters go, Adam and Teri take some beating.
Freelancers:
We’ve also seen a jump in freelancer content this month. March has very much been Holly Musgrave month, with History’s Loveliest Mistake appearing in not only the second episode of A Rad Time (talking about her Top 10 Ghibli movies) but also brand new playthrough series The Board Room, alongside perennial favourite Jon ‘Groining Me’ Gracey.

Looking forward to doing more Board Room filming in the weeks ahead. It’ll still be on zoom for the next month or so, then… who knows…
Tessothemorning, Sorceress Feraly and Level20Geoff are still working away so very diligently in the company Discord server, and what a lovely (if horrifying) community that’s blossoming over there!
Equipment:
Another sizable month for equipment investment! Not so much in quantity, but certainly in price tag.
Starting with the biggest single outlay, we’ve bought a new editing laptop for Old Teribobs, a hot off the presses, brand new MacBook Pro. It’s a spenny bit of kit, but it’ll cover everything that Teri needs for her work, whilst also allowing her to do it on the go. To maximise editing efficiency, we’ve also bought a Sandisk 2TB portable drive to edit on.

The Board Room might be the big new series, but personally I’m most happy with the big improvement we’ve made to our podcast setup. Previously we were gathering around two USB mics between three people, but that has since been overhauled to three separate PodMics, connected by XLR cables fed into a Zoom P4 Podtrak sound mixer. It sounds SO MUCH BETTER if you haven’t already given this month’s Rad Time a listen!

Finally, we spent a small bit of money on transforming me into my one true love, Sullivan Beau Brown. It’s the best cash I’ve ever spent.

Subscriptions:
The usual. Netflix for WWE and the watchalongs, Zoom for my fan calls and board game sessions, Adobe for the editing suite, and Epidemic for background royalty-free music.
Rough Total for the month: £10k.
Yup, that’s what happens when you double your payroll, but thanks to all you wonderful lot, we still have a little bit of money left over from the month to invest back into the business. Until the studio is done this is most likely the amount we’ll need to be spending each month, so it means the world to us that you’re still supporting us on the road to building BlampCo into a fully-functioning YouTube channel!
Future Plans (Expenses):
April is all about building a new studio. The process has already begun, some furniture has been bought, and the soundproofing has begun, but that project will take up most (if not all) of the next month.

(watch this space)
We’ll be buying new lights, more sound panels, at least one new camera (probably more if we can afford it), sorting out storage solutions, and building a whole bunch of flatpack furniture, all in order to create a studio that BlampCo can truly call home! We’re trepidatious and excited in equal measure. Also, Teri gets to wield a hammer, which she’s assured me she knows how to use.
Future Plans (Content):
April is WrestleMania month, and there’s definitely going to be some content oriented around that. Alongside the Fantasy Booking WrestleMania/Predictions video and reviews for both nights, I’ll also be live-watching Night 2 so we can all watch Cody vs Heel Cena together!! And I won’t be alone, I’ll be doing it with Pete Quinnell, the Peoples Champion!
For the board game fans reading this, we’ll have another Board Room for you to enjoy - with Holly and Jon returning to play Can’t Stop! I’ll also be shortly releasing a list video all about games to play on BoardGameArena, which might just coincide with a special COMPETITION!
We’ll also have a new episode of A Rad Time, featuring Jon Gracey and me talking all about Stephen King and The Simpsons!
Honestly, it’s going to be a fantastic month, and thanks so much to all of you who’ve joined us on this ride so far. It’s only going to get better from here
Get back to work!

Oh, duh. It's a thing that happened in March. Therefore, it gets mentioned in the recap of things that happened in March. Derp. Brain fart

This is just the monthly wrap up. So yes she came in on the 3rd but that's still within the month of March so its included.

I thought you told us Teri was full time a couple of weeks ago, is this just the "the contract has been signed so now it's OFFICIAL official" follow-up?

You've been DRINKING that rainwater? And ... you've been OK, right? No visual disturbances? No projectile vomiting? No sudden limb atrophy? Employee, we're going to need you to go and see Nurse Pfefferneger on Floor 24. Left out of the lifts. Soon as you like. It'll be fine. Don't worry about a thing.
Mikey Ellis
Can't believe me, Pete and a... certain other guy... all share a birthday that happens to be the same day as Wrestlemania night 2
EricS
Loving all the new content. Been a pleasure having you back!! Take whatever time you feel you need before officially launching the YouTube channel. It’s been cool seeing the gradual jump in video quality over the past month or so.
Doormamu, Lord of Doors
How fortuitous that WrestleMania falls on Pete’s birthday! What a lucky Pete he is.

Any chance of the podcast being filmed? - even lower quality is okay. I think people would love to watch it. All respek though.

Horrifying Discord members? That's me the boss is referring to! Employee 24601 moving up in the world. Seeing how much things are growing already is great!
