🕑 Added 2024-12-23 18:42:37 +0000 UTCMerry Christmas Eve Eve! Here's this year's fresh-off-the-Cintiq Batgirl Supergirl Christmas comic. Sharing it a day or two early for you before posting it to the rest of the internet either tomorrow or on actual Christmas day (I haven't decided yet).
I was hoping to have it sooner for you but this one took me waaaaay longer than I expected. I think because I never fully committed to the idea. I kept rewriting and redrawing things. But now that it's done, I'm happy with it! And I hope it makes you happy too and that your week is filled with many sweet and Christmasy type things.
I also sliced it up for easier phone reading (and because it's the only way to post these comics to Instagram). View those individual panels as well as the usual process stuff in the above image carousel.
And with that, I'm off to go play Zelda: TotK for seven days straight. Have the most joyous of holidays, my friends!

Aw. Thank you for continuing a tradition that brings me and so many other people such joy! Seriously, your World’s Finest instils such a smile on my soul. Peace and joy are the best gifts, thank you! I love that Supergirl is SO innocent that, despite all the horror she has and does experience, she becomes like a little child. She spreads a message of love and good cheer, like any angel - which of course goes back to Kara’s first appearance about being a guardian angel. Batgirl’s long suffering of her best friend’s enthusiasm, and her frustration over another outburst of such reverie is always funny, but you’ve established that she wouldn’t have Supergirl any other way. I also always love how you have Harley and Ivy continuing to do villainous things but will, like the rest of the villains, stop everything to enjoy Kara’s love for food, family, and festive spirit. I do kind of feel for Babs, having super villains hug her because they’re “family” and have cookie exchanges and Kara just lets them be who they are - although clearly she can stop them if they ever get out of hand. I would love to see Kara and Harley together on some wacky celebratory adventure. i love The Star in the background and the little elf who kind of looks confused as to why and how he’s there, while Streaky - wearing his themed cape - checks him out. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and may you receive the joy you provide for all of us!
