Train Stop TimeLapse
🕑 Added 2024-11-26 19:30:02 +0000 UTCTimeLapse Tuesday time! I thought I'd take a break from sharing a fanart one this week and share one of my girl pinup/fashion/vignette (whatever you want to call them) drawings.
I always liked how this train stop one turned out and since there's probably quite a lot of traveling happening this week (Thanksgiving and all), it felt like a good one to post. I think I might've shared the quick 60 sec version back when I drew this in 2022 so I uploaded the full--holy smokes--over 10 min version this time. Gosh. Feel free to scrub past a lot of the mundane boring stuff! I must have completely forgot how long I spent on this one.
To be fair though, a good chunk of the front end is just me scribbling away different rough poses and concepts until I landed on something that I decided would be fun to finish. By now, you're probably used to seeing that, but there's a great deal more of it on this one. I think once I landed on what to draw (and get that face just right) the rest went pretty easy. Who knows though. It's been a couple years. It's hard to remember.

I love this! I guess this is the Canadian in me as my first thought was sheβs like an alt Anne of Green Gables, as that looks so much like cover illustrations of Anne waiting at the train station to be picked up, and the frustration/ annoyed/ impatient look would fit too. The cat is on point! π
