Even though the idea of kickstarting an art book still fills with me with a touch of dread and anxiety, it'd still be nice to at least have a portfolio of drawings I can put in one in the off chance I move past those fears. After all...
Haha. That's the first time I've made one of those.
Anyhoo, been into Cake recently (the band, tho the dessert is pretty good too) so that's how the above girl came about.
ALSO, I'm taking a short break from social media. Maybe not the best time because I just remembered SDCC is right round the corner and my innate curiosity is bound to get the better of me and I'll be back on within a week. But I've just been finding myself drawn to it more than I usually am as of late. That's time I'd rather be drawING--like focusing on my graphic novel and sketching more pinups. Wanted to assure everyone though that when I inevitably depart social media for a looooong break, I'll still continue to keep sharing art here. Eventually, I'd love for this to be the only place I post art at all. But that's maybe a little unfair. And dumb. Guess we'll see where the west winds take me!
