Thorn & Fone Bone Watercolor
🕑 Added 2024-03-20 16:30:13 +0000 UTCHere's another watercolor sketch for one of your fellow patrons to kick-off the first full day of Spring (despite it being in the 50s this morning here near Tampa and not feeling very much like Spring at all).
I don't know why, but Bone always make me think of springtime. Probably because I first discovered the comic around issue seven which was the beginning of the Spring Fair. That whole arc with Fone Bone haphazardly trying to retrieve a honeycomb for Thorn and Phoney attempting to rig the Great Cow Race is still my favorite storyline from the entire series. In fact, I'm probably about due for a reread. 💚

Thanks! Yeah, I made an exception here because it's a little tough for me to draw Thorn without Fone Bone and it's not like he's a complicated inclusion.

Cute image of Fone Bone and Thorn! Which reminds me that I'm (over)due for a reread of Bone as well. I thought the sketches were only for one character, so was the request just for one and you decided to add the other? Plus Ted (who's contractually obligated to always appear with Bone 😁).
