Panzer Dragoon - A Long Overdue Update

Back in December, just after I published the Castlevania retrospective, I decided that it was a perfect time to take on a project I'd wanted to do for a long time. Luckily it was only a handful of games so it wouldn't take long and then I could focus on doing something completely fresh in the new year.
As you're all well aware - it didn't quite work out like that.
While I did my research and started writing, the video began to grow and before I knew it, the work had spiralled out of control into something far grander than I'd originally intended.

Today I come to you with a conclusion and a promise
The video will be published on Wednesday 15th February. Some of you might have seen that I was originally aiming for this Sunday but sadly the editing process has taken far longer than I'd expected. I want to make sure the quality is as high as you've come to expect (and get rid of any annoying mistakes that come to dominate the comment sections on the months after release) but that means a few more days to wait
I also want to make a commitment to not make you wait this long for a video again (or at least without justification). The reality is that a two month wait for this video is far too long in my opinion and the next project is certainly going to be "managed" better to make sure this kind of scope creep doesn't set in again.
Luckily the next video is already mapped out and it naturally should be a bit less of a monster - but it still needs to be said, especially to those of you who fund the channel every month.

So in reward for all that patience, please see the attached video which is the first part of our upcoming history lesson / exploratory video game essay / opinion piece. It's setting the scene for the birth of Panzer Dragoon and hopefully it gets you into the mindset to explore a world of early 3D graphics and adventurous game design.

Agreed, your videos have been worth the wait so far. Even from a purely selfish perspective, additional time isn't a drawback, it's an investment in the quality and quantity of future content, since you'll produce more overall if you don't burn yourself out.
