as a painter myself i understand this fear but i also understand it punishes supporters by offering less benefits to us and, as a consequence, might actually encourage piracy from the lack of legal options rather than mitigating it, aside from this some degree of piracy is essentially unavoidable, i think it would be better mitigated by actually providing those legal options to those of us that want to pay for the work and support the artist.

that's sad to know, for what i have seen so far they don't precisely make their art the most accesible, even at the 1000¥ fee i am at, wich is a shame since their art is quite unique and stylish, i would guess if they offered more options they could probably get much more support, i for one would pay an extra for the old artwork if they were to post it on Gumroad or Ci-en for example but alas... if that is not possible how is one supposed to get a hold of the work without being chosen through obscure means by the artist?
