Jabali Island is a product of toooo much adderall lol! And I was infested but as I did my deep dive (and from what you said) I figured out it was just a “family guy adderall mix” lol!

Lol! If you’re interested, the book is Jabali Island. I gave up on it a little further in because the giant man eating pigs are maybe zombies and are definitely oozey. I’m not sure whether the giant spider on the cover ever shows up…
