Mewton Training for the Ultimate Power
🕑 Added 2022-09-12 13:59:28 +0000 UTCSomewhere, deep within a valley, surrounded by forest and water, lives many different kinds of pokemon. The place is isolated and well protected by a powerful being, Mewtwo, the ultimate pokemon, created by the combination of the unborn embryo and altering his DNA, giving him an human-like form and intellect. Mewtwo experienced hardship, victories and meeting a few special humans over the years after he destroyed the lab he was born from, giving him the freedom to protect the pokemon of the valley that he cares for. He keeps the place from harm by humans. Whoever comes to their land, he will approach them and battle their pokemon before they exhaust them all that they leave peacefully. It’s nothing new for him, this happens once a while without any challenge to them and their tactics.
Lately, more and more trainers have come to the valley. Most of them were new faces but he remembered a few of them from earlier battles. Mewtwo wasn’t worried and was fighting each and everyone the same. Whenever a new trainer came, the harder they fought against him. He could tell they were getting stronger, feeling his health falter when a pokemon gets a hit. Even as he beats the trainers and they leave, doubt starts to fester his mind. “Am I getting weak?” he ponders to himself. In all the years, being hailed as the ultimate pokemon, he’s never felt a frustration like this before, as if his title is slipping away from his grasp that he’s been working hard to keep since he came to this world.
Mewtwo, resting in his cave, is woken up by a pidgey and tells him that a camp has been set by humans by the edge of the valley. The same humans who've fought Mewtwo lately and been coming repeatedly. Out of curiosity, Mewtwo gets near the camp where they are and picks out a man that looks the most simple-minded of the group, sending him a psychic suggestion as to why they’re here. The man with a long white lab coat and thick glasses replies “Because we’ll capture Mewtwo, stupid!” he says in a mocking tone. “Since we heard that Mewtwo himself lives here, we can take him down and I’ll be seen as the most powerful man in the world!”. Mewtwo scoffs, another power-hungry human after his powers. That explains the recent increase of trainers. “His powers are strong, that’s for sure. But we’ve finally found his weakness.”. Mewtwo gives a sudden twitch hearing those words. The ultimate pokemon, having a weakness? That can’t be! He’s fuming with anger just hearing that. The man in the lab coat continues “When Mewtwo uses his psychic powers to constantly attack and defend, his powers weaken. If we battle for a longer time with our pokemon, he’ll be too tired to keep his psychic powers up, then it’ll be a piece of cake to capture him when all he will be left with is his scrawny body.”.
Mewtwo, shocked and horrored, pulls back from the camp unnoticed and heads back to the middle of the valley, reflecting on what he’s heard. “Am I…really that weak-looking?”. He goes to the big lake, studying himself with his reflection. He’s no mountain of muscles like many fighting type pokemon he knows. His neck is so thin that it rivals his bone-like arms, no fat or muscles on him. He has round and thick legs with muscles but it carries no shape or strength since Mewtwo always uses his psychic powers to get around. The human is right. Without his psychic powers, he’s useless. His title as the strongest pokemon in the world that he’s been holding proud for so many years, now feels meaningless to him. It’s almost laughable how he’s never looked at himself like this before. Weak. “.....No. I will not let that happen.” He raises up on his feet, looking at his thin hands and holds it to a fist. “I won’t let some greedy human take me and my powers again. If they want to capture the strongest pokemon in the world, I’ll be so strong it’s impossible to capture me.”.
In the cave, he’s holding many boxes and items he brought along from the lab before he left it for information and many different curiosities. In the research papers, it says he’s mixed with human DNA. He’s seen humans train to increase their muscle mass and become stronger. If his body carries the same genes, then it’s worth trying to do the same. There’s plenty of bottles of Protein in boxes and heavy weights that the scientists used to test the strength of the pokemon, so he’s got what he needs that’ll make him stronger and bigger. Taking a hold on the smallest dumbbell without his powers, he can already feel how heavy it is before even getting started. He’s got a long way to go to gain the muscles he needs.

It was a slow start, only using the lightest weights to gain any amount of muscles. His body was aching and it was an uphill to get to for sure. But he didn’t give up and kept pushing himself. After weeks of working, his muscles have been showing. It’s not much, more like the mass of an average human being. Still, it was an improvement to how sickly thin he used to be. To take the next step, he looked for the machamp living on the other side of the valley. Machamps are natural bodybuilders and are said to be one of the most physically strong, with enough muscles to move mountains if they so wished. Getting help from him will bring him the workout and tips to gain muscles, like what berries to eat that’ll help his stamina and growth. The machamp suggests he should lift with his psychic powers while working out, and it’s proven to be quite difficult for Mewtwo who’s struggling to keep his mind on lifting already. Still, he takes his advice as his desire to be the mightiest pokemon grows stronger.
As for the man with the white lab coat and his trainers, he’s been avoiding them. He’s aware of their plan and only comes to the valley for him. He’s usually not to turn away from a battle but he has to be wise and lay low for now. He’ll make sure to give the humans a scare that they’ll never forget in the future. Every day, he pushes himself harder and heavier. The weights get increasingly heavier and the new workout routines by the machamp have been exhausting. Mewtwo had no idea how hard it is for humans to work so much to get bigger. In a way, he’s admiring that side of the humans. They’re naturally weak but some work hard to get bigger and stronger that goes against their nature.
After a long time of working out, his body shape is nothing like his old self. His thin neck is long gone, now being a sturdier thickness to it. His chest that was barely holding out is now replaced with a mighty pair of pecs with a round shape. Instead of his skinny bone-like arms, he has muscles that go from his shoulders to his fingertips, showing the results of his hard work. He’s even getting shape of abs, which is something he was surprised to see himself with. After a good workout of lifting weights, he feels himself, holding a hand to his arm and flexing it to feel the powers he’s gained by working so hard. It’s an amazing feeling for Mewtwo, the feeling of power in his body, it’s almost addicting…
—-------
Mewtwo’s been pushing harder and harder, each time he feels like it’s too easy, he’ll increase the difficulty by more weights. His body grows bigger and wider, it’s hard to tell he’s Mewtwo if it wasn’t for his tail and his characteristic frown on his face. He’s been wearing the full-body retainer he found among the many things from the lab, said to push the body to its limit when wearing it. The constant workout when having it on is tiring but Mewtwo can’t help but to feel a rush of adrenalin, having his muscles itch when he grows bigger. His whole body’s so incredible in size that it made the machamp who helped him envy his massive build. Mewtwo has truly reached the limit of how strong and big he could get.
Mewtwo satisfaction was short lived, now that no matter how much he works out, his muscles won’t get bigger. He reached for the machamp and asked “Why am I not getting bigger? I can’t have reached my limit already, I have so much more to gain!” Machamp explained he couldn’t do anything about it. Regardless of how much he drinks protein, no matter how hard he trains, his growth has slowed down to a halt. “How can this be? I can’t stop now. How…” Then he remembers that there’s still things from the lab in the cave. If he’s been lucky to find what he needed this far, he could find something again that could help him grow more.
Looking desperately through the things, he found some of the failed experiments for pokemon. Voice-improving pills but the pokemon lost their voice, a Blazikan arm made of metal and wires that can’t move properly. Then he finally found something that peaked his interest. “Test #76, protein enhancement.” It was labeled as dangerous, having a note to it that said the effect was too strong, making whoever consumed a portion of it would get a mass to a ridiculous degree. Mewtwo showed a second of hesitation before he picked it up. “This sounds promising.” Blinded by his greed, he goes against the danger and drinks it. All he desires now is to grow bigger, no matter the cost.

The team of humans have been looking for Mewtwo for months without luck. They planned on finding some pokemon in the valley and attacking them to lure him out, but they were all mysteriously out of sight every time they went there. This time, they move as a group and won't stop looking for him. After a long day of looking, one of them found Mewtwo's cave, hearing something deep within it. “Over here!” he shouts, as everyone gathers to the entrance of the cave. “Finally! I thought we would never find his secret cave in this stupid forest.” The man with his white lab coat adjusts his glasses to find traces of Mewtwo's footprints. “Strange,” he said. “These are the legendary pokemons footprint but they seem strangely deep to him. It’s documented his weight can barely hold a footprint. Regardless if it’s real or not, we’ll go into the cave and find out. I must have that pokemon!” Nervous, the trainers follow him into the cave. The cave is dark and cold. They think to themselves, does this pokemon really live here? Not long after they entered, the faint sound started to sound like a voice. “....30004….30005….30006….” How strange. Who would be counting down here?
Getting closer to the voice, they find something moving in the half-litt cave. It’s big and purple, with a long thick tail having its back towards them, lifting a massive barbell on its shoulders and…a Snorlax being held in the air above it? They were dumbstruck from where they stood, seeing this mountain of muscles count out loud as he worked out. One of them says “W-w-what pokemon is that?!?” The one in the lab coat snaps out of the trance and he shakingly picks up his pokedex. “I-incredible! This must be a new pokemon, never seen by human eyes!!!” He points his pokedex to the massive built pokemon. “MEWTWO. IT WAS CREATED BY A SCIENTIST AFTER YEARS OF GENE SPLICING AND DNA ENGINEERING EXPERIMENTS FROM MEW.”
“I was wondering when you would show up, humans.” The mountain-sized purple figure turned its head over his shoulder, looking at the humans with a cold stare. He floats the big snorlax to the other side of the temple out of sight, as he lets go of the multi-ton barbell, shaking the ground like an earthquake. “R-RUN!!!” all the humans yelled out loud, running back where they came from. “C-c-come back, y-you cowards!!! Y-you were paid to beat M-Mewtwo!” the man in his lab coat yells to them, left all alone with the behemoth of a pokemon. Then Mewtwo says “So, it was that simple to scare you humans. Pathetic.” and crosses his arms, puffing up his massive pecs and widens his arms, making him look even bigger in front of this puny human. “D-don’t think for a second that I’ll fall for your illusion!” the little human yells out, with a shaking voice and holds a pokeball ready to throw. “I know your weakness and I’ll have my pokemon beat you down till you submit to me!” But Mewtwo chuckles at that threat. “I would love to see you try.”
—--------
The human had many strong pokemon up his sleeve. Alakazam, Dragonite, Tyranitar and Salamence all put up a fight, but their attacks were useless. One after the other, they were beaten by Mewtwo’s speed and strength. He’s so strong that he had no use for his psychic abilities, beating them till they faint and be put back in their pokeballs to rest. Mewtwo standing there without breaking a sweat, the puny human grows visibly frustrated. “DON’T GET COCKY, YOU DAMN POKEMON!!!” The human pulls up from his lab coat a pokeball with a purple color and a big M painted on it. “EAT THIS!” The pokeball is thrown to Mewtwo and hits his wide chest and opens up, making Mewtwo glow red, the same effect as when a pokemon is captured. The human has a big grin, but it doesn't last long as the ball falls to the ground, without Mewtwo in it. In shock and horror on his face, the puny human falls to his knees before the pokeball gets crushed under Mewtwo’s feet. ”How…..How is this possible? It was a masterball…It should’ve captured you…You were supposed to only use psychic powers…” Mewtwo scoffs at that and stands in front of the human, towering over him. He uses his powers to pull away the pokeballs from the human and place them in his hand, showing a small smirk on his lips. “As if a mere pokeball can hold the ultimate pokemon.” He leans over the little human and stares right into his eyes. “I’m no longer Mewtwo.” he says. “Now I’m Mewton, the ultimate pokemon.”
After the human left running from the cave, Mewton opened up the pokeballs and put them in the care of pokemon that could heal their wounds. Mewton couldn’t let them stay with a human as reckless as that, so he let them stay in the valley along with the others. Ever since that encounter in the cave, no humans ever came to the valley. The rumors of the ultimate pokemon being so big and impossible to catch was enough to warn others to never attempt it, keeping the valley safe. With that, Mewton feels satisfied. He kept going with his training, even when his growth had stopped. Not that he needed to get any stronger, he’s the strongest pokemon.
There’s the other legendaries out there to fight and they are plenty strong but he knows he can beat them. But could he? There are many different types of legendaries and one could get him down if he’s showing a moment of weakness. Pondering about this idea for a while, he finds the experimental protein holder and finds a few drops left in it and he thinks to himself: “I wonder how much bigger and stronger I can get.”
