Yeah, I now it's like with Disney movies of OG characters, you can't use any of the characters Disney invented. I just wanted an excuse to make a joke on Chinese Knock offs... Like Super Robert Cop... It's literally the Terminator 2 Mold but with Robocop gun from first movie trilogy, but it's painted in the livery of the modern Robocop and the cardboard backing has Rambo doing the Thumbs up Meme. It's so glorious.

Munchman you are indeed corect; my comments regarding IP laws are made in jest. It is worth nothing tough that any modern rendition of public domain stuff does become a protected IP in itself, which is to say, basing a character on the original monkey king is fine, but hypothetically basing the likeness on the recent game would infringe their IP. Good thing that my little character is the former, legally distinct enough ;-)

Fun fact: The monkey game is based on the Journey West, which is not only in the Public Domain coz it's Ancient, but it's in the public Domain coz it's China... tThey have a pretty poor record on IP laws... Phelous has an entire portion of his YT channel dedicated to Bootlegs, some of them are hilarious, like Radical Spider Dude, the Spiderman on a Skateboard... it's a remote control that has police light on Spiderman's head like Inpector Gadget...
