Stage Preview: Dungeons

Work is going well for the new stage, which will be the dungeons underneath the castle. It will have a couple of new tricks up its sleeve (much like the upper floors had), so please expect some challenging gameplay trying to navigate it.
In fact, those castle stages are going to be placed near the end of the game anyways (in terms of story progression) so it's fine that they are both more challenging than the usual stages.
That said, the true final stages of the game are yet to come, but at least you'll get to kinda see a glimpse of them when you get to the very bottom of these dungeons. You'll know what I mean once you plat it.
These dungeons also lend themselves to having a lot of possible enemy types that would fit well into this theme. One of them that I want to create is a purple slime (hmmm where have I seen that before?) that unlike it's more "passive" blue cousin of the beaches (who is more of a jelly than slime but eh), will try to fully envelop Maya trapping her inside of it. What happens next is... no spoilers here hehehe.
Alright back to work for me, and in the next preview post I'd like to finally reveal how the new boss fight against the princess will work.

Hi, your game ist fantastic. It's one of my absolute favorites. One thing I would love would be if you implement some traps into the game, that if triggered lead to instant defeat and lewd scene.

That's my kinda slime! Any chance the cages aren't just cosmetic and can try to drop down and trap Maya to leave her helpess? Just an idea i had

psst, smol bug I noticed in 0.2g-i, if the lizard lady grabs you while jumping, it bugs her out for some reason and she starts hopping into the air every couple seconds during any grab animation. just figured id let ya know.

Ah, good 'ol dungeons. No castle level is complete without one. You're already teasing the new slime enemy, and knowing more info about the princess will be in the next post? I'm excited to see it.
