Generally speaking, the design of Alraunes tend to be 50% human girl and 50% plant, so the idea of making a character that is much more "plant" than "girl" sounded really interesting. For instance, the lack of arms adds to the plant like feel.
As you can see on the preview above, she has a rigid "sack" or "pitcher" on her lower body, which functions as her mouth and digestive system. Since maws are a common appeal of the vore fetish, I chose to switch the static opening of pitcher plants for a mouth of sorts. It goes without saying that the shape and positioning of the mouth in relation to the girl is suggestive of the theme I was going for.
Speaking of that, the girl's body is the stem of the plant and it is how she attracts her prey. They are attracted by a variety of things: her cute likeness, pheromones released from her hair and boobs in the form of spores, the sweet scent of her mouth, her entrancing movement, etc.
And when the prey approaches her stem, they usually have to stay right above her mouth, and then... well, look forward to those animations.
