Mystic Knight Maya: the basics

Welcome to my patreon page, where I hope to build some fun games with your support! In this post, I'll explain some details of my plans and intentions for my current project. What I have right now is a solid prototype of the game. There is a main menu, options menu, a story intro and then you're into the gameplay. Currently the game has no sound/music, but it will have in the future, including voice for the main character. So a short list:
[Basics]
- It's a 2D sidescroller/platformer with metroidvania elements;
- The player will be able to explore the game in a non-linear fashion and enjoy the game's content at their leisure;
- it will have a cloth damage system;
- It will have erotic sprite animations for each of the enemies and bosses;
- It will have erotic CG art for bosses;
- It will be completed one day (I'm aiming for 1 year of development, more or less)
- It will be a closed development
- It will be premium game, meaning it will be sold on dlsite, steam, etc;
All of the basic game's mechanics are implemented: movement, attack and basic skills. There is a unique damage system and also cloth destruction. During the game you can pause with P or ESC to open an in game menu, but not all options are implemented yet.
For now, you can explore the beach stage, and then moving to the right you will reach the castle which is the 1st hub of the game, and then again towards the right there is test of the forest stage, where you can get the 1st skill and test it out. Return to the far left side of the beach stage to conclude the demo.
As for the adult content, for now only the Isobora (the monster in the forest area) has a sprite animation. When I post the first public demo release you'll be able to check it out.
