Nayeon was already famous even before Sixteen and her debut with Twice, she was the "Legendary Trainee" (apart from Jihyo) and was also known as "The Genius Idol". We can jokingly meme her with their song 'I Wanna Be A Star' all we want but she literally was Born to be an Idol. She could have probably made it BIG with YG or SM or other companies if JYPE didn't secure her but we might have gotten a totally different kind of Nayeon... just glad she ended up being TWICE.

I never realized how many freaking "groups" there are for trainees. I've heard about weekend classes, kid groups, older trainees but then you have groups like "Debut Team" etc. I used to think everyone just trained together and maybe it was separated a little by age. fksdjgkjsd

Yes exactly that one, The latest lineups was: Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Sana, Jihyo, Lena, and one other trainee that i forgot the name of.

Yes when Nayeon was tarining for 2 years for a "Debut Team" it was supposed to be a 6 member group with Nayeon, Jihyo, Jeongyeon, a Rapper called Lena and 2 other members, but that group keep having changes to their lineup with only Nayeon, Jeongyeon and Jihyo as the only constant. So they didn't debut Sana was at some point in that group also but eventually they all moved to Sixteen
