In talking about those characteristics JYPE looks for in their artists and talking about swearing, etc., it's not only the they themselves are young, but many of their fans are very young as well. Whether they want to or not, being in that position makes you a role model. And I appreciate the artists that are good role models to young people. I'm a much older than average K-pop fan, so as a parent and former teacher, I find that important. Heck, I wouldn't even let my students say the words "this sucks" in my classroom!!
