need more!

Cody

WE NEED THE ENDING OF SHUTTER ISLAND

JB

Him seeing her with the knife, he doesn’t think “She has a knife she’s dangerous" He thinks "she has a knife because IM DANGEROUS" which he displays by approaching her

JB

Another thing on that convo about power dynamics in that knife scene… the director knows us viewers are completely aware of who Walt is and how dangerous of a person he has become. That’s genius writing for them to have him almost disregard her with the knife because of her fear of him paired with his arrogance. They showed multiple dynamics just in that 7-10 seconds

NMP

I stand corrected lmao

NMP
