Wow, what a breakdown. The editing and mixing was so good from a filmmaker’s perspective but the album, I can’t believe it’s that dense and layered. DAMN. got me into listening albums for the first time and I didn’t even know how genius it was. What a masterpiece from the Greatest of all time.

Terrence Williams

Definitely a film maker lol I just loved the fuck out of the beats and shit. I did the back to front listen like 2 times 🔥🔥🔥 all I caught was the sequencing and the amazing instrumentals. Heart of The Cards

Absolutely breathtaking breakdown of DAMN. I have listened to the album multiple times front to back and back to front over the years but now seeing how the sequencing was so purposeful really blew my mind. This is a perfect example of why albums should be somewhat structured and tell a story. This is a 10/10 video Terrell. Great work #Whole9

EA9800

Best album review I’ve ever seen hands down

Alex M

Yo this year i have been playing DAMN so much because I know there is something more to that album, something that people weren't catching. even after looking online people weren't giving flowers to the concept or message of the album, they were mostly just celebrating new Kendrick music. THIS is what i was looking for!

lahroc_

Probably the best album review I’ve ever watched. Terrell put his foot in this one 😂🔥🔥 great content 💯

I feel like da real title for XXX. is SIN. and it’s just X’d out. Like just listen to T’s segment for that track and tell me SIN. don’t fit da description.

Nelly

One of my favorite video! I first saw your channel when you uploaded the DAMN review so this is like full circle! Excellent video!

One of the best album breakdowns that've watched.

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

L.A.R

Terrance, don't embarrass yourself by trying to go against this in a "Which Is Better", I love you too much to see that my brother.

Evan

Also want to point out the placement of the M in DAMN. on the cover art, it’s perfectly rested on the center of his head almost resembling horns (like the devil)

This was so well done Terrell holy shit, I gotta go listen to the album again and hear it like you broke it down. You might just be right saying this is his best album. WHOLE 9!

Emmanuel

This was fire Terrell 🔥

Chakana

I cant single out a “best” album from Kendrick. There all like championship rings💍; all special in there own way. But I appreciate this content & have a more immersive perspective for DAMN. Amazing Video💯🏁

Ledarius Patterson

This is it bruv. Love it!

Such an amazing breakdown .. it’s 3 o’clock and I’m still replaying it in my head. Terrell really knows how to make an album more digestible or easier to understand which allows you to relate to the album even more.

Currently 22 minutes in and this is done so well man. As a college student who happens to study philosophy, I feel like I’m deadass grading someone’s dissection of this work🤣 I doubt I’ll budge on my bias toward TPAB but this shit highkey got me re evaluating everything I knew about Damn; great fucking job Terrell

Amazing breakdown Terell! Shit was legendary fr. Shout out to both of y’all for the hard work you guys do 9️⃣

Joshua Rogers

This was amazing you killed this shit fr the level of DETAIL that went into this from the editing to the breakdown this was 🔥🔥🔥 I just gained a new level of appreciation for this album Kendrick is a genius and it’s sad some people will never truly understand that. Great job again bro this was crazy

Palace0nMarz

well now you gotta explain his other albums and Terrence gotta do my beautiful dark twisted fantasy

Simply put this is Immaculate!

Happy Belated ‼️ 21 a milestone 🤝🎉

Anad

You nailed it on the head in my opinion, but idk if you forgot or you just didn’t pay no mind to the “What happens on earth, stays on earth” that we hear multiple times on the album. It kinda signifies that when you leave the earth your work is what’s left behind. Which is why you hear the gunshot on ‘BLOOD’.

Jaden Spare

I just want to give a round of applause on behalf of everyone because this actually made me tear up 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

amazing🔥Terrell you should really start a series where you do a breakdown of your favorite album by a specific artist and basically defend why it’s the best out of their discography

Toj

The best part was when you broke down the tracklist backwards that was fire 🔥
