Cole 1-0 is funny. Kendrick dropped a verse on a feature, not an entire track so you gotta wait to see what Kendrick responds with before declaring a first round winner. Cole shined hard on 7 Minute Drill. His lyricism and cadence was pretty masterful but I don’t think he took the best approach in subject matter. Attacking Kendricks discography just seems envious because Kendrick’s discography sleeps Cole’s. He needs a different approach or to reveal something personal because this ain’t the way. Also, that Simpson’s line was corny. While I personally love Kendricks music more than Drakes and Cole’s, I think they’re all at the top but each for different things.
