The "if you want" thing shouldn't be that big of a deal, but it is. I agree with both sides. Terrell, I'm a big fan of SOA & I know you are too. There was a scene in one of the last 2 seasons where Gemma told Nero, "Only men need to be loved sweetheart, women need to be WANTED." Powerful ass statement that is the mf truth. Women need to know you want them; they don't want to feel as if they're bugging or chasing you. Why do men have to add "if you want" at the end? ESPECIALLY knowing how most women will react? Like why can't they just say yeah? A woman asking if she can go over is already telling you she wants to go, so men's whole argument about using "if you want" as "no pressure" is unnecessary. Just tell her yes? Lol, it's really that simple. On the other hand, women do tend to overcomplicate things. That's some stuff we need to work on as a whole, but I just think it circles back to us not wanting to feel like we're bugging you & when you say "if you want" it doesn't sound like your excited about seeing us. Call it childish or complicated, but I think it just goes back to a woman needing to feel wanted.

J. Cole had the better album than both of them. Drake's album was lackluster to me. Kanye's was different and inspiring production wise. Rodney King died in 2012 by the way.

The reason Drake has more replay value is like he was saying, its the occasion. I'm not gonna play Come To Life in the car with friends, in the gym, at a party, etc but does that make it a worse song than Way 2 Sexy? No, Come to Life is easily much more musically impressive than Way 2 Sexy, but it can't be played at every occasion. Both albums have different purposes, and they both fulfill them well. Just bc you hear a song more, does not make it better automatically. I would argue that Donda is a better album as a whole, but CLB is not "bad" either.

J cole is not sitting in the ranks with Kanye or Kendrick. It doesn’t matter how many times y’all say it, it will never be true. Cole does not have “rings,” he has A (one) ring...and that’s 2014 forest hills drive. And even that album does not come close to the importance of Ye’s first 5 albums and Kendrick’s first 3. If Cole never put out 2014 would y’all ACTUALLY ride for his other albums as much as y’all do? The answer is no. His albums are good for what they are, but they don’t reach the heights of MBDTF, TPAB, or even GKMC. Those albums have been cited as not only some of the greatest rap albums of all time, but as some of the greatest albums of all time in any genre period. Cole fans have to stop the silliness at some point.
