v0.4 Update Log 8
🕑 Added 2023-02-12 21:45:27 +0000 UTCQuick reminder that update logs contain spoilers!
I'm a little sad about how this week went but some stuff that I made needed some of my attention and I ended up not making too much progress.
Let's explain everything in the details since there's still a bit to talk about at least.
During this week, some of the stuff like the traps and the boss not dying at 0 HPs created some small issues that I struggled to remove, it took me some time to understand how to do so but at the end they got fixed, for example, the "immortal apply" event should also change the music for the fight against Sakura, however, upon losing against her and coming back to the fight, the music for the second phase immediately started, so yeah, let's say that this week was more focused on tweaks and fixing errors.
I still made some stuff that I'm proud of, I made the image for the VS scene and then I finished the battle end scene which also has another 3 optional questions you can ask to Philla about some stuff that Alex doesn't quite understand, they will reveal some stuff that you guys are probably going to enjoy ;P since obviously, it's just foreshadowing for what's coming next.
I added a small appearence that you guys are gonna appreciate, then I finished another scene that will happen after the Sakura fight, in fact, a bunch of stuff will happen, so much that I also put a save point in the middle of it, I know a lot of people are gonna be thankful for it, since some of you will probably fail what's coming next on purpose haha.
Next up is the Orb seller scene + Orbs selling event before I get to the easier stuff, if I have to bring the list back, my total of stuff to do is currently:
- Small scene where Alex meets an important character (The guy that buys your Orbs)
- Obviously I also need the event to be able to sell Orbs
- The images for the shoe removal
- Small dialogs from Philla during her guidance
- Every lose scene against the moves
- Exploration stage 5
- Handjob Succubus Card? (I could probably delay that one to another version if needed)
- Include the new enemies to the gallery (I could delay that one too)
I'm still doubting about the last two, and in fact, I think I'll probably delay them, also, I had to make the decision to not make the images for the person that buys your Orbs, he's quite the important character lore-wise and he has-.. quite the particular design which, despite my tester's words, is 150% gonna change since the Koikatsu assets are completely different from what I have in 3DCG. So do not worry if you guys meet a "missing image" picture when talking to him, I put that on purpose since he's gonna have a model only when we get to stage 5 while reskinning the game with Koikatsu images.
Hope this log wasn't too disappointing-.. I will make sure to make more progress next week! Time for me to write some more funny dialogs!
