Dev diary 3rd of April, 2020
🕑 Added 2020-04-03 12:04:19 +0000 UTCIt's been a busy week with the release of the first chapter, and me adapting to a slightly different work squedule than usual. The feedback has been 100% positive, which absolutely blows my mind. Though it gave me confirmation that I can continue the story in the same theme as chapter 1.
I felt I had to revisit the first chapter and give you the choice to decline Steph. Not due to the amount of people wanting to do so, but because it was in my original script, and left out because I didn't want to offer a chapter 1 without any (although by choice) "adult" content. That, paired with seeing that people cared more about the story then getting down and dirty with Steph, more or less felt I was forced to go back to my original idea.
I've also worked a bit on the script for chapter 2, and designed the last romanceable character. Both versions of her actually (without giving any further spoilers).
Wednesday I finally started chapter 2 rendering, which count about 40 as we speak but not bad for 2 afternoons. And my computer is rendering the first animation at night or when I'm at my normal job. All in all, the first scene is almost done, and I am very happy with the result.
I'll try to keep up these dev diary's every friday so you have a rough idea of how things are progressing.

I'm surprised so many people chose story over the lewd scene, but because of it I changed my approach slightly, adding non lewd animations as well to add to the immersion of certain scenes for the upcomming chapter 2. Cece is the youngest person in Leap of Faith with her 18 years, also none of them are related, so that should answer any question about under-age/incestous content. :) And welcome as Patreon. It's not about gaining thousands of patreons over night, and the timing is awkward with this uncertanty in the world today. But as a new artist to this, with a new project, every Patreon means, and helps, that much more. Thank you.

Awesome beginning and I am so glad I didn't play until after the update. I wouldn't have been happy with being forced into sleeping with Steph, so glad there is the option. I love all the girls so far and look forward to the reveal of the last girl. I pledged mainly because I find it so hard to find a decent game that doesn't have incest so I pray the final option isn't that. It is a great story so far, and with amazing realistic characters. It is too bad with have this stupid crisis going on, but I think people will come on board eventually. I just hope you can hang in there til they do.

I actually love Steph and i have a thing for drama love relations, i can see how Steph may have been forced in unwanted marriage or something.... i cant wait to find out :)

Aw.. Kira would have been such a nice vampire... Kidding ofc. :) Not spoiling too much, but if it doesn't exist in the real world, it won't be a part of this story. Let's see where this journey takes us. And thx for the vote of confidence!

Excellent start, thank you! Grabbed it off of f95 by chance, the header/banner used there didn't do anything for me so overlooked it at first but went back since I was bored, had very low expectations.. all of this sounds awful BUT.. I was very pleasantly surprised and plegged right away, I usually don't support until I've seen 3 or 4 solid releases so that's a vote of confidence :) Now fingers crossed that the last LI is trans, CD or something along those lines as to explain "two versions"... Please don't let it be something supernatural, vampire, werewolf, santaclaus... Hoping for the best ^^

i think there's several reasons for that, corona virus meaning a lot of people being off work is a big factor. most people my self included don't have a great deal of money so unless playing something floors you like yours did to me they wont support or could be they liked the game but not quite enough to support straight away and want to see future updates first to see how it goes, i have several games in the category. also 99% of us cant support all the games we really like, i can support several which is more than most but there's a lot more than several that i would consider my fav's so what i tend to do is support several of my fav's for a certain amount of time and then switch to other fav's or like i did with you a support a new creator but like i said your the first to get $10 out of me so take that as you will.

I tried avoiding the "flashback to the ex" scenario I've seen in other VN's, and instead wanted to bring her into the story as a fully fledged option. The title of chapter 1 and leaving-the-shoe-behind is a pointer that the mc is moving on. Something chapter 2 will further confirm. And thank you so much for the support. Many people seem to be holding back on the helping, so every one of you joining in early are helping more than you'll ever know.

i like alot of people didn't like having to sleep with steph and i'm happy i now don't have to. having said that at the time i felt considering how obsessed the mc was with steph it made alot of sense for it to go down that way and it didn't stop me pledging and pledging the highest amount i ever have BTW so. amazing start keep up the good work
