[Alpha Update] Custom Audios
🕑 Added 2024-08-16 13:11:04 +0000 UTCHey Alphas (Old and New),
(This is being sent out to all members (free and every tier) because I know many Alphas that this applies to have dropped down a tier or two)
Depending on the length of time you've been subscribed to me, you may or may not be aware that for a time I provided a free customised audio after 5 months of consistent subscription.
Over time, as my numbers have grown, these custom freebies have become harder and harder to keep up with alongside my usual audio output, life-work etc.
From April/May 2024 I put a stop to accepting these requests to try and stem the tide and work through the number that had racked up. At that point it had reached 130 to work through which represents around 22 - 33 hours of pure recording time, not including prep and editing.
I am pleased to report that I am now working through them at a steady rate, of about 6-10 a week. My goal is to try and complete all of the remaining 103 custom requests before the end of the year which is perfectly possible.
If you have requested an audio from me in the past (because you joined when this offer was in place) please hold tight, you should be receiving one from me as soon as I can get to it. The link to the custom tracker should be within your original message from me with the custom form link (message me if you haven't got this).
I need to be very clear that for the foreseeable I will not be reinstating a rolling 5 month freebie and am going to seriously consider the boundary for offering this service again. When I originally offered this I had the time and capacity to offer it, but as my numbers have grown I simply can't keep up - unfortunately, things change!
Ultimately I do not want to let you down and appreciate many of you have really enjoyed receiving a customised audio from me, but I'm now at a point where I cannot maintain this service in a meaningful way that doesn't directly impact my wellbeing. I'm sorry for that.
So, thank you for your patience and to those of you who have continued to support me throughout. Your subsscriptions do genuinely mean the world to me, please know that I'm working as hard as I can to try and get the ones left out to you and hopefully in the future can return to offer this service once more.
Best wishes and all the love,
Pup

Hiya! Just now seeing this π€¦π½ββοΈ I've been subbed since January and hit 5 months right under the wire, just before you stopped the custom promotions, but never got around to actually DM'ing to get in the queue. Since I qualified prior to the cutoff, may I still request my custom? Thanks so much!

You shouldn't apologize for taking a long time on stuff you're making FOR FREE! Also, I'd be totally interested in paying for a custom audio if you ever decide to go that route.

Pssh no sorry, Pup. Like I said, you need to take care of yourself! If you ever decide to do them again that would be great, but even if you never do and just focus on other scripts you're a joy to listen to. Won't be switching tiers just because I can't get a custom audio lol. I didn't even know it was an option when I upgraded so... π

I know, I'm sorry. Like I've said, I do want to return to making them at some point (they're really great and often give me additional content to share with the wider Patreon) BUT some people have been waiting for over a year so I need to knuckle down and get the remainder done before I offer any more π

So I'm not going to lie and say it's not a little disappointing that I joined the highest tier at EXACTLY the wrong time ha, but also you gotta do what's right for YOU, Pup. Take care of yourself. Stay kind.

I feel very blessed and fortunate to have received one of these customs and listen to it at least once a week. If not almost every other day lol. It truly is a treasure and a gift, and I don't see any reason for you to apologize for being human lol. It's amazing that the numbers have grown, and is a total celebration and victory and testament to the power and quality of your art. Thank you for all that you do, and every so often there's an audio that comes up that almost feels like a custom. Without the request. Just the magic of your craft. and I know I'm not alone in that.
