🕑 Added 2019-01-10 00:06:21 +0000 UTCHey everyone! As you know I sometimes work on side projects to explore different themes. I'm pleased to say that one of these projects has picked up steam and is almost ready for you guys to play with.
This game is heavily inspired by the talented Mana Ray's ongoing China World series and shares many common elements. It takes place in an alternate timeline where China is the dominant world power and Europeans/Americans make up the lower classes.
This particular game (New Beijing) will take place in an all-girl's senior high school, where the protagonist Summer is preparing for graduation. When the Chinese government passes a controversial new law though, what will she do? It's up to you.

They've expressed interest in collaborating on the game now and then, so you know it's gonna be good!
Development will take place parallel to Harshville and all tiers have the same access to its releases. Creators will be able to vote/propose content and Designers design characters.
As the second Banished game, New Beijing will feel more linear than Harshville. You'll be playing as a more developed character (Summer) rather than a custom and quiet-ish MC. Your choices and performance *will* affect what paths Summer takes and how the narrative evolves, but it won't be the big sandbox type game that Harshville is becoming.
