New Backer Goal: Hire A Map Artist
🕑 Added 2018-11-13 08:44:42 +0000 UTC Hey everyone! I know it's probably obvious to many of you that I'm not exactly a traditional game dev or even artist. Just a programmer with a kink and some spare time. I think one of my biggest weaknesses is map-making, since I just want to get to the character action and impatiently plop things down!I've gotten better over time but one of the mantras I live by is 'focus on what you're naturally good at'. Luckily, the game development community has plenty of awesome artists and map designers!
So I thought that if this project attracts enough funds, it would definitely be worth getting someone else on board to give you guys better looking neighborhoods, mines, buildings, you name it.

Ok, well if we get close to the goal I'll make a post to gauge interest in it/different kind of hire

To be honest I don’t think the map is that big of an issue I don’t think that quality impacts how much people enjoy a game like this.
