Photoshoot: Jill Valentine STARS Cosplay - Resident Evil 25th Anniversary

Today is the 25th anniversary of the Japanese release of Resident Evil (or Biohazard, as it's known over there). It is my all-time favourite game and has been a part of my life since I was a teenager in the late 1990s.
After the success of my Resident Evil 3 cosplay last year, I started thinking about Jill Valentine's original STARS uniform. Despite lockdown, I was able to buy the basic T-shirt and beret, then customised them with STARS patches. I made the trousers myself from scratch, as well as the foam gun (originally for last year's cosplay). The wig is also from my last attempt at Jill and the boots and gloves were originally bought for a future Lara Croft cosplay.
In addition to this set, my social media feeds will be dedicated to Resident Evil today as I show the many different versions of the original game from my collection and share some memories.
