Bestie breaks down trans bathrooms
🕑 Added 2024-12-23 17:00:05 +0000 UTCHere is my hot take on the non-issue that is bathrooms and access. Let's focus on more important things: like rising inflation costs, the erosion of democracy, and the horrid wealth gap

Are you suggesting politicians, "gasp", lie? How very dare you...

It's a "manly" thing. There's nothing manly about peeing on the toilet friends. Also not manly to pee on the seat and walk away and leave it.

It’s far more common for men to sit than stand in some European countries but the USA seems far behind that trend for some reason?

Well, (re-)focussing people on minor issues and non-issues, as happens in this case (the more hysterics, the better), is a tried and true political strategy to prevent people from asking questions about the real problems and why they do not get solved. As to the scenario: I agree. The gender-sign on the door is not going to stop people intent on attacking somebody. That has been clear to me from the beginning of the hysterics. The whole idea is disconnected and irrational.

Anna's reaction at the end there is why I sit to pee. There's no reason to risk the nasty, just freakin' sit down...

You can stand at a toilet, if you must stand. Urinals are simply not needed. They are certainly not cleaner. Most people think a stream is solid, it is not. It's a series of drops, and those drops splash everywhere. If you ever swab the urinal walls, you will find some nasty stuff. Sitting in a stall is, overall, better for the person and the cleanliness of the area.

What are your thoughts on banning urinals. Some people argue it has health benefits for men like more fully emptying the bladder and prostate health and cleanliness urinals are an outdated part of the patriarchy that should have been retired a long time ago. Other people see no issue with them I’m curious your views on the let me know?
