Early release: The Toy's Toy, Epilogue

I liked where we left it after the last chapter and the Westfield incident, but I had some loose ends I wanted to tie up, and you know I'm a sucker for saccharine endings. This is a bit Return of the Kingsy in the way it could probably end after any of the individual scenes but just keeps going, but you know what? I love it anyway, and if people have to keep standing up and sitting down in the theater when this inevitably gets bought by Pixar and turned into a feature film, so be it.
Thanks as always for all your support! RA volume 7 is coming soon, plus a couple commissions, so February should be a groovy month. Hope you're all doing OK out there. Much love, and more to come.

And I didn't even have to hold in three hours worth of piss to get to the very end, unlike Return of the King! (Seriously, one of the worst movie-going experiences of my adult life. END THE FUCKING FILM, YOU GODDAMN KIWI.) Riotously funny, just like always, and as unpredictable as ever. Devon's caustic asides always crack me up, her little self-deprecations and casual monstrosity against genders/professions/species. But the extra dash of fun to The Toy's Toy is the bizarre avenues the narrative travels down in pursuit of Devon's happy ending -- like, I guess she's the Gal In The Chair for mercenaries now? That's where we ended up from a tale that kicks off in a suburban home? I love it. Devon's story could've ended last chapter, but I'm glad we got this extended epilogue to solidify both her personal growth and eternal terribleness. Excellent, excellent stuff.
