🕑 Added 2024-06-21 01:40:22 +0000 UTCSo we're a lot of the way into The RA Volume 6 first draft. 7 installments written, and I'm aiming to keep it a similar number of chapters to the other books, so maybe 4-6 or so to go, depending on how the mood strikes me. This selection is going to be similar to volume 4, meandering between various points of view, though the chapters aren't generally as massive as those.
I'm going to be on the road 2 out of the next 4 weeks, and I find road trips are where I do a lot of big picture analysis, so I thought I'd get some input from y'all. I have some chapters done (including a perspective or significant focus on: Charlie, Destiny, Jean, Leigh, Kendall, Georgia, Vanessa, Ramona, Kitty, Amy, Quinn, Marisa, the triplets, Sammi, Casey and Jacqui), and I have some characters I already know I'm going to include (including Spencer, Savannah, Dawn and Kyu-Ri, Ellie, and Nikki).
So my query to you, apart from those, is there anyone else we want to see more of? I've listed everybody not already included above down below in room # order. (Some are so intertwined that I grouped them together.) Vote as many times as you want. Feel free to make your case or list your reasons in the comments (or hop over to the discord server, (which has recently grown to include a whole bunch of writers you'd recognize from their work on the EMCSA and elsewhere, which is awesome).
Full disclosure: I don't guarantee I'll cover the top X candidates, but you can help me steer my RA energy in a good direction and give me folks to think about. Thanks for your input and as always for your support!
Unrelated, one of my side projects I'm working on is trying to solidify a "canonical" AI face for the characters so I can try to be more consistent going forward, and because it's something to look at while I write. I'm using a pool party theme, and I tossed in a sample of Toni, along with an image I made for Toni exactly 1 year ago today for comparison, just to show how far we've come. Wild.

Please give us more Shauna…. Her battle with her lascivious nature is a joy to watch, especially when that submissive streak surfaces wanting to be controlled. Beyond intense……. That makes sense. Pretty much the reasoning I used to put Nikki and Ellie on my short list, as they've both had next to no presence so far. Danni's definitely got potential, too!

Would be interested to read something from Jordyn's perspective, that would likely be a trip, lol. The only one on the list that gave me a bit of a "who?" reaction was Danni, so maybe something there. Masking insecurity with dirty jokes and clowning could be something to explore
