We're getting near to a "book 1 end" point, I think, where I can let the broader world in on what we've been hiding from them. First, though, I still want to do some foreshadowing (still deciding if I want a feather duster or a jackhammer) to start setting up a more explicit consideration of what the hell is actually going on here. Spencer might be doing a good job of not looking his gift whores in the mouth, but me, I can only suspend disbelief so far. So expect soon to start getting some hints at a bigger picture.
In the meantime, I heard back from some folks about commissions, so I'll be going back and forth between this and those. Should be good times. For now, though, enjoy a chapter about fucking Andi!

It makes sense that Andi would be the first one to really break Spencer's resolve. There's the Savannah of it all, certainly, and being triggered by a reminder of her inescapable erotic power. (Stupid perfect sexy face!) But Spencer's a guy who wants to feel emotionally needed, and is not immune to being idolized by a cute young coed, so the adorably unconfident Andi is exactly the sort of girl/woman that's going to get Spencer throwing his ethics out the window. There's also the incredibly weird sexual energy on Higgins 3? I love how Spencer's mid-sex scene and is like Why Am I Acting Like I'm Mid-Sex Scene. He's *performing*, almost, and it's so wildly out of character for him that it's a great doorway into the wider questions of what's going on in this story. Excellent transition! Another incredibly fun chapter, even if Andi is slightly scary in how easily the word Pathetic can be used to describe her. Thanks!
